حالا بماند که تمام اون تصورات و خیال بافی‌های من خراب شد.
ولی خب اصلا خوب نبود که اون معجون شفا بخش اثر کرد.
حقش بود فقط روی شکارچی‌ها کار کنه.
این طوری اگه بقیه بفهمن که یه نفر درمان شده، آشوب به پا میشه.
از اون ور، توی ورزشگاه جمع شدن.
قراره رتبه اِس ها باهم تمرین کنن!
گوتو ریوجی چقدر دلش خواست که با سونگ جین-وو مبارزه داشته باشه.
اصلا ناخوداگاه چشمش جین-وو رو گرفت.
باید دید در چپترهای آینده چی پیش میاد.
انگاری این قسمت‌ها توی ناولش نیست. بعضی‌ها خوندن.
من هم نسخه انگلیسی رو دارم.
ولی فقط 13 صفحه ازش خوندم. خب انگلیسی سخت است خوندنش.
اون هم ناول!
هممم، اگه این گوتو-سان و سونگ جین-وو با هم مبارزه کنن، چی میشه؟
مبارزه مساوی تمام میشه؟
جین-وو از ارتش سایه‌ش استفاده می‌کنه؟ و اگه استفاده بکنه، نامردی حساب نمیشه؟
من انتظار دارم که جین-وو به زودی یه سیاه چالی وارد بشه که بتونه درمانگر برای خودش پیدا کنه. یعنی سایه‌های جدیدش درمانگرهای سطح آ یا حتی اِس باشن.
راستی پدرِ جین-وو هم دیگه نیومد داخل داستان.
اون هم خیلی مشکوک است.

کونان تا 260 دیدم.
خب انیمه‌ی کاراگاه کونان که تا قسمت 260 ریخته بودم در سیستم، دیدم.
راستش همه‌ی فکر و حواسم پیش این انیمه بود.
به جونِ تو اگه وقت گذاشته بودم، می‌تونستم یه 13 تا انیمه تماشا کنم.
ولی خیلی از این کونان راضی بودم و هستم.
حتی با این که دارم با زیرنویس انگلیسی نگاه می‌کنم.
امروز به صورت اتفاقی تبلیغ در شبکه امید دیدم.
قراره پنجشنبه این هفته که میاد، ساعت 18، یکی از فیلم‌های کونان رو نشون بده.
البته این فیلم انیمه‌یی رو در نوروز 98 دیده بودم. همین شبکه نشون داد.
ولی باز می‌خواهم تماشا کنم.
کلی یادداشت نوشتم و چسبوندم به درب و دیوار.
یوهاهاها.
فعلا هارد اکسترنال وصل نمی‌کنم که بخوام صد قسمت دیگه کپی کنم.
این طوری هیچ کاری نمی‌کنم.
چند وقت شده که دیگه The Sims 4 بازی نکردم؟
همه‌ش درگیر کونان بودم.

عرضم به حضورتون که چهارشنبه‌یی (6 Nov 2019) ساعت 23 گذشته بود، کافی میکس درست کرده بودم.
نشسته بودم آشپزخونه داشتم یه جور نان شیرین می‌خوردم.
مامان اومده میگه: فردا نریم آمپول بزنیم، شنبه بریم!
من رو میگی! اینقدر شوکه شدم که نون از دستم افتاد.
خب یادم نبود هنوز دو تا آمپول دیگه دارم!
گفتم: اگه اون خانمه باشه که آمپول دوم رو زد، من نمیام داخل.
امروز صبح (9 Nov 2019) رفتیم دکتر.
من داخل نرفتم. مامان که رفت بخش تزریقات دید خانم اولی است، بعدش من رفتم داخل.
ببین! اصلا نفهمیدم که آمپول زد.
حتی راستش شک دارم اصلا زده یا نه! تا این حد.
یه آمپول دیگه مونده که باید دو هفته‌ی بعد بزنم.
کاموا خریدم

در مورد کاموا نگفته بودم؟
اصلا یادم نمیاد.
اگه نگفته بودم، حالا میگم.
این سه‌شنبه‌یی که گذشت (05 Nov 2019)، رفتم بازار برای خرید کاموا.
چقدر گرون شده بوددددد!
آخرین بار که رفته بودم، کاموا معمولی کلافی 3000 تومان بود.
که به نظر من زیاد هم بود.
اون وقت حالا معمولی‌ترین نوع کاموا شده بود کلافی 7000 تومان!
اینا رو گرفتم:
آبی – دو کلاف
صورتی تیره – دو کلاف
آبی نفتی – یک کلاف
زرد کم رنگ – یک کلاف
زرد پررنگ – یک کلاف
قلاب سایز 2.5
عکس انداختم، در آینده‌ی دور میگذارم وبلاگ.
بماند که کلاف‌هایی داشتیم که 25000 تومان، 30000 تومان و ... بودن.
آدم دلش نمیاد این همه پول بده.
بخوایی یه شالگردن ببافی باید حداقل دو تا کلاف 300 متری که 100 گرم است داشته باشی. مثلا باید 50000 تومان فقط پول کاموا بدی.
خب میری یه شالگردن می‌خری که شاید ارزون‌تر و قشنگ‌تر باشه.
این همه وقت هم برای بافتش نمی‌گذاری.
اون آبی نفتی رو برای تمرین و کلاس و اینا گرفتم.
زرد کم رنگ رو برای بافت لیف(با قلاب) گرفتم.
زرد پررنگ رو هم احتمالا برای پاپوش و یا شاید تمرینی.
ولی اون صورتی پررنگ که شبیه قرمز است، برای کلاه گرفتم.
آبی اولی رو هم که برای شالگردن گرفتم.
فکر نمی‌کنم تا زمستون بافت شالگردن تمام بشه.
من دستم خیلی تند نیست و اتفاقا کُند هم هست.
احتمالا برای همین که دستم کُند است توی کلاس بافتنی و قلاب بافی مشکل داشتم و همیشه عقب میافتادم.
اشکال نداره.
البته فعلا که نمی‌خوام ترم‌های بعدی رو برم.
بافتنی اگه برم میشه ترم (3)، و قلاب بافی میشه ترم (2).
ولی در حال حاضر نمی‌خواهم کلاس بروم.
* اااا، همین مارک کاموا رو گرفتم و همین رنگ آبی رو!!!

خب خب خب.
بالاخره بافت شالگردن رو شروع کردم. (6 Nov 2019)
کشباف سه تایی دارم می‌بافم.
دیدم حوصله‌م نمی‌کشه طرح دار ببافم.
هر چند وقت می‌تونستم (شکلاتی – ناف لیلی – حصیری) ببافم.
شکلاتی و حصیری دیدم جمع میشد، خوشم نیومد.
ناف لیلی هم قبلا بافته بودم، تکراری میشد.
برای همین کشباف سه تایی رفتم. (سه تا رو، سه تا زیر... از رج اول تا انتهای کار).
ولی الان که یه وجب شده، این هم تقریبا جمع میشه.
اون چیزی نشد که تصور می‌کردم.
شاید باید کشباف دوتایی می‌زدم.
رنگ آبی‌ش هم بد نیست.
پخت و پز

این چند وقته کلی نون و شیرینی و کیک و کلوچه درست کردیم.
عکس گرفتم.
ولی هنوز وقت نکردم درست کنم، آپلود کنم و بگذارم وبلاگ.
در آینده‌های دور باید این کار رو انجام بدم.
همین طوری عکس‌ها داره تعدادشون زیاد میشه.

این قسمت‌های OVA و اسپشیال که از شاهزاده تنیس تماشا می‌کردم (با زیرنویس انگلیسی)، اصلا دلم رفت... چقدر از این انیمه خوشم میاد.
یعنی می‌دونی این قسمت‌ها این طوری بود: «همه خوبان یک جا جمع اند...»
تا این حد!
تزوکا عشقم! آتوبه عشقم! فوجی عشقم! و یه سری خوشگل دیگه که اسمشون رو یادم نیست.
ولی همه‌شون یه جا جمع بودن. ووواااییییییی.
خب راستش شبکه امید داره فصل اول رو نشون میده (دوبله فارسی)، رسیده اون قسمت‌هایی که تیمِ تزوکا باید با تیمِ سانادا مبارزه کنه.
و الان بازی اینویی-سنپایی با اون دوستِ دوران کودکی‌ش است که اون هم اهل جمع آوری اطلاعات است.
من منتظرم بازی فوجی-سنپایی با اون پسره که شیطان میشه، شروع بشه نگاه کنم.

خلاصه داستان (منبع)
After five years of harboring unspoken feelings, high-schooler Taiju Ooki is finally ready to confess his love to Yuzuriha Ogawa. Just when Taiju begins his confession however, a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone.
Several millennia later, Taiju awakens to find the modern world completely nonexistent, as nature has flourished in the years humanity stood still. Among a stone world of statues, Taiju encounters one other living human: his science-loving friend Senkuu, who has been active for a few months. Taiju learns that Senkuu has developed a grand scheme—to launch the complete revival of civilization with science. خلاصه داستان (منبع)
Continuing his masquerade as the deranged lunatic from the Lanling Jin Clan, Wei Wuxian resides in the Cloud Recesses while his former cultivation classmate, Lan Wangji, searches for answers about the demonic severed arm they have in custody. With an overwhelming dark energy emanating from the arm, the two are forced to work together in order to keep it contained. However, the demonic arm is not the only dark force lurking in the region, and as spiritual tensions rise in the mountains of the Gusu Lan Clan, it is up to the two of them to try and restore the natural order.
The story of Wei Wuxian's fall from grace continues as more light is shed on his descent into the path of demonic cultivation. The demonic arm only further strains his mischievous spirit. Web Manga 'Uramichi Oniisan' Receives Anime Adaptation
Publishing company Ichijinsha uploaded a promotional video for the fourth volume of Gaku Kuze's Uramichi Oniisan on Friday, which revealed that the web manga will be getting an anime adaptation. Kuze drew an illustration to commemorate the announcement (pictured).
Synopsis
"Hello, boys and girls! Do you like guys with more than one side to them?"
31-year-old Omota Uramichi is the gymnastics coach in the children's educational TV program "Together with Mama." He might be sweet on the outside, but all boys and girls are inevitably scared off whenever they get a glimpse of the adult darkness that's the result of Uramichi-sensei's emotional instability. Voice Actors Ryota Osaka and Manami Numakura Announce Marriage
Early Wing and Arts Vision—the respective talent agencies of voice actors Ryota Osaka and Manami Numakura, announced on Wednesday that they had gotten married. The two stated that they will respect each other and continue to deliver great work. They also hoped that fans would watch over them, as they have "much to learn."
Some of Osaka's notable roles include Zen Wistalia from Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (Snow White with the Red Hair) and Sadao Maou from Hataraku Maou-sama! (The Devil is a Part-Timer!), and Ryuu Yamada from Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches). He is reprising his roles in Diamond no Ace: Act II and Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai! (We Never Learn!: Bokuben) as Eijun Sawamura and as Nariyuki Yuiga, respectively.
Some of Numakura's roles include Yurika Toudou from Aikatsu!, Saya Endou from Dagashi Kashi, and Hibiki Ganaha from The iDOLM@STER. She is also voicing Kohaku and Mary Steinberg from the currently-airing series Dr. Stone and No Guns Life, respectively.

Zombie Survival Manga 'Gakkougurashi!' Ends
The December 2019 issue of Manga Time Kirara Forward announced on Thursday that Norimitsu Kaihou and Sadoru Chiba's Gakkougurashi! (School-Live!) manga will end in the magazine's next issue. The January 2020 issue will publish the 78th and final chapter on November 22.
Synopsis
Yuki Takeya loves her school so much that she does not want to ever leave! Megurigaoka High School is a unique and lively place where Yuki enjoys her carefree life as a third-year high school student and member of the School Living Club. The club, consisting of the president Yuuri Wakasa, the athletic Kurumi Ebisuzawa, the mature junior Miki Naoki, the supervising teacher Megumi Sakura, and the club dog Taroumaru, prides itself on making the most of life at school. However, this illusion of endless bliss is just a bubble waiting to be burst because Yuki is unable to perceive what is truly happening around her. In reality, all is not as it seems—the real purpose of the School Living Club is to escape from the shocking and disturbing truth: the girls are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and have barricaded themselves inside the school as the sole survivors.
Based on the manga by Kaihou Norimitsu, Gakkougurashi! follows a group of girls who are forced to adapt to a post-apocalyptic life all by themselves. They have no means of contact with the outside world and are surrounded by hostile undead waiting to devour them. The girls must not only contend with the challenge of survival; they must also strive to maintain a false appearance of normality in Yuki's presence. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Kaihou and Chiba launched the zombie survival manga in Manga Time Kirara Forward in May 2012. The manga had entered a six-month hiatus from July to December in 2017. Houbunsha published the 11th volume on January 12 (pictured). Gakkougurashi! has a cumulative 2.5 million copies of its compiled volumes in print.
Lerche produced a 12-episode television anime adaptation in Summer 2015. Crunchyroll simulcast the show with subtitles as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime series in North America and released it on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub in June 2017.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English in 2015 and published the tenth volume on February 19. The 11th volume will go on sale on October 29.
A live-action film based on the manga opened in Japan on January 25. The film inspired a four-episode prequel drama series, titled Gakkou XXX: Mou Hitotsu no Gakkougurashi!, which streamed on Amazon's Prime Video service on January 16.

Twittering Birds Never Fly Boys-Love Film's Promo Video Unveils Cast, February Release

Illustrator Akane created deformed character illustrations that will adorn character goods — available for advance sales at Animate Girls Festival 2019 at Tokyo's Ikebukuro Sunshine City complex from November 9 to November 10.
Blue Lynx's Animate Girls Festival booth will also sell advance tickets for the film, in a bundle with cat-themed mini shikishi boards illustrated by Yoneda.
In addition, the booth will have advance tickets for the other two announced Blue Lynx films, Given and Umibe no Étranger. People who buy advance tickets for all three films will receive a story by Shion Miura and a limited set of five postcards illustrated by Yōko Tanji.
Digital Manga Publishing publishes the Twittering Birds Never Fly manga in English, and it describes the story:
The sexually masochistic yakuza boss, Yashiro, isn't the type to warm up to others easily. Fuji TV's new Blue Lynx boys-love anime label is producing the film as its first project.
Kaori Makita (Yuri!!! on Ice, Banana Fish episode director) is directing the film at GRIZZLY (Yarichin Bitch-bu). Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Mob Psycho 100 II) is penning the script. The piano trio band H ZETTRIO is composing the music.
The series has been running in Taiyoh Tosho's Hertz and ihr HertZ magazines. Taiyoh Tosho published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on May 1. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga's third volume in March 2017.
Digital Manga also published Yoneda's boys-love manga No Touching At All (Dōshitemo Furetakunai) in 2010, as well as the Even So, I Will Love You Tenderly (Soredemo, Yasashii Koi wo Suru) spinoff manga. Animate USA released Yoneda's boys-love manga Kanjou Spectrum on Amazon's Kindle ebook store in 2012. Viz Media's SuBLime boys-love imprint is publishing Yoneda's NightS manga.

TV Anime 'Pet' Premieres in Winter 2020
The official website for the Pet anime revealed additional cast members and a new promotional video on Monday. An adaptation of the remastered edition of Ranjou Miyake's supernatural manga of the same name, the anime was previously set to premiere this Fall but will now air in Winter 2020 on Tokyo MX, BS11, AT-X, and other channels. Amazon's Prime Video platform will also stream the anime exclusively in Japan and overseas.

«وایولت» در میدان جنگ کلماتی را به گوش شنیده است که فراموش کردن آنها برایش کاری ناممکن است. کلماتی که از زبان فردی عزیز برای او جاری گشته اند؛ کلماتی که هنوز معنای آنها را نمی‌فهمد. جنگ بزرگی که سرزمین «تلسیس» را به دو جبهه مخالف تقسیم کرده است بعد از چهار سال به پایان می رسد و مردم به نسل های جدید خود خوش آمد می گویند. «وایولت اورگاردن» در این بین، دختر جوانی است که به تا بحال با نام «سلاح» شناخته می شده و حال با خارج شدن از میدان جنگ برای شروع زندگی جدیدی در دفتر پستی مشغول به کار می شود؛ آنجا او با ابزاری کار می کند که افکار مردم را به کلمات مبدل می کنند و این عمل بسیار او را تحت تاثیر قرار می دهد. وایولت کار خود را ادامه می دهد و در این مسیر با فوران احساسات و شور و شوق انسان های پیرامون خود روبرو می شود و در عین حال به دنبال معنی کلماتی است که تا کنون از فهم آنها عاجز مانده است.

The Great War finally came to an end after four long years of conflict; fractured in two, the continent of Telesis slowly began to flourish once again. Caught up in the bloodshed was Violet Evergarden, a young girl raised for the sole purpose of decimating enemy lines. Hospitalized and maimed in a bloody skirmish during the War's final leg, she was left with only words from the person she held dearest, but with no understanding of their meaning.
Recovering from her wounds, Violet starts a new life working at CH Postal Services after a falling out with her new intended guardian family. There, she witnesses by pure chance the work of an "Auto Memory Doll," amanuenses that transcribe people's thoughts and feelings into words on paper. Moved by the notion, Violet begins work as an Auto Memory Doll, a trade that will take her on an adventure, one that will reshape the lives of her clients and hopefully lead to self-discovery.

Psycho-Pass 3 - Episode 1 [Review]
Despite continuing the story of the two TV anime and four films before it, Psycho-Pass 3 seems to have no problem blazing its own path through the cyberpunk dystopia of its predecessors.
As the first episode of a multiple season series, the premiere of Psycho-Pass 3 has three major jobs: 1) Introduce us to the new status quo, 2) introduce us to all the new characters, and 3) keep us interested while doing so.
The new status quo is more than a bit of a shakeup. When we last saw the full CID team back in Sinners of the System 1 - Crime and Punishment, everything was more or less unchanged from how things had been since Psycho-Pass 2--i.e., series heroine Akane was catching criminals with her team of inspectors and enforcers while simultaneously trying to keep the Sibyl System in check.
Psycho-Pass 3 starts three and a half years later with Akane locked up in a rather luxurious prison. Her former second-in-command/rival, Mika, now sits in the boss' chair and the team Akane built has been completely replaced--except for a single other member: the shy and reserved Sho.
This drastic change is itself a mystery--and one that overshadows the entire episode. Why is Akane in prison? Is it because of what she knows about the Sybil System or was something else the cause? Where is the rest of the team? Why is it that only the least loyal to Akane (Mika) and one of the most loyal to her (Sho), remain? And what of all the setup we saw across the Sinners of the System films, how does that fit in?
But even as we start to ponder this, we are introduced to our new protagonist pair, Kei and Arata. Kei is the typical straight-laced bureaucrat we've come to expect from this Sybil System world--at least on the surface anyway. It's clear rather quickly that this is a facade and he is actually loyal to Arata alone--and to their secret shared goal.
Meanwhile, Arata, by his very existence, stands to throw the grounded, cyberpunk world of Psycho-Pass right out the window. While claiming to be a “mentalist” he actually receives haunting visions at crime scenes--and accurate ones at that. Whether he is just using technology as he claims, is a real psychic, or is seeing psychotic delusions built from his own intuition and observations remains to be seen. But regardless, the fact that a person of such obvious mental instability could exist within the Sibyl System's control is a captivating mystery in and of itself--which brings us to the weak point of the episode.
Compared to the mysteries of what happened to Akane and what exactly is going on with Arata, the actual mystery of the episode is little more than incidental--though this is likely by design. How and why this man was murdered is little more than a narrative tool to introduce our new cast through action rather than verbal exposition and sow seeds for the future. Likewise, the mysterious cabal pulling strings in the background is, as of yet, nothing but a hook to get you to come back next episode with the promise that more is going on here than it seems.
All things considered, this is a pretty solid premiere for a multi-season anime. It does all the heavy lifting it needs to do in re-establishing the setting and introducing our new heroes. And while the episode's actual self-contained plot is rather weak, the characters--both new and old—and the mysteries surrounding them are more than enough to keep things interesting.

No Guns Life - Episodes 1-3 [Review]
A dingy neon-lit alley illuminates the man's broad shoulders. He moves deliberately and with composure as he watches some goons run away from the bar he just finished cleaning out. He strikes a match and lets the cigarette smoke waft lazily as he mulls on the War, this City, and the corporate lynchpin piercing its center. The dame behind him tries in vain to flirt, but he has no time for women, children, or humidity. He doesn't trust anybody. He sighs heavily. A muted trumpet crescendos in the background. The man's head is a gun.
This was the point at which I knew I was in for something special with No Guns Life and its blend of noir and stone-faced absurdity. The crime/police procedural has been a standard fixture in anime for decades at this point, so it's important for any modern iteration of this genre to have a good hook. The shadow of Blade Runner has also loomed large ever since its debut, and we've hardly had a shortage of stories about private detectives, robots, and the ambiguity of humanity. No Guns Life walks onto a very crowded platform, but I think what really sets it apart is its straightforward commitment to the noir aesthetic. If this show were any more hard-boiled, you could bounce that egg like a superball. With every labored cigarette puff, Juuzo slots himself perfectly into that brooding and masculine archetype of the reluctant hero battling against—yet inevitably tainted by—crime.
Also, his head is a giant revolver.
Like any respectable tech-noir series, No Guns Life has its own set of terminology to explain its history, but the background should feel familiar to fans of this genre. There was a war, during which many soldiers underwent cybernetic enhancement in order to become the Extended (which I'd like to add is a legitimately fantastic name with a lot of character). These upgrades were facilitated and managed by the über-conglomerate Berühren, which now reigns over the post-war city as its vampiric capitalist overlords. Former soldiers, now finding themselves both destitute and possessing sweet cyborg powers, have turned in droves against the law in order to make their livings. However, our good gun lad Juuzo, also a former soldier, has instead set up shop as a detective-for-hire specializing in Extended-related crimes—otherwise known as a Resolver (which is a terrible gun pun I have to begrudgingly admire). Thus, it would seem fair to expect a lot of cyborg-related crime and conspiracy as Juuzo navigates the dark underbelly of a city gone to rot.
This is, more or less, exactly what we get in the first three episodes. Shocking nobody, Berühren turns out to be pretty evil! They've been experimenting with augmentations on kids under the pretense of running and orphanage, and Juuzo gets mixed up with a runaway named Tetsuro who's able to hack into the mechanical components of any Extended. It's a powerful (and illegal) ability called Harmony, but the procedure also rendered his body mute and immobile, forcing him to hijack a giant robot body in order to carry his puny human body to safety. The first episode plays this with a surprisingly decent amount of pathos, and I was especially impressed with how the direction utilized the cyborg's noh mask of a face. Traditionally, these masks were used in theater to communicate a spectrum of emotions, which could shift based on the lighting and angle at which they were looked. Tetsuro looks large and frightening when we first believe him to be the kidnapper, but in the end, his slumped head looks tragic and resigned to his fate as a guinea pig.
Similarly, Juuzo's face seems totally non-expressive at first. It's worth emphasizing that it's not even an anthropomorphized gun—it's just a gun. Still, the anime manages to fit a lot of character into his presence, thanks in no small part to veteran voice actor Junichi Suwabe inflecting his low velvety voice with just enough grit to blend in with his surroundings. Juuzo also frequently goes into chibi-mode for comedic purposes, which both feels like cheating and works against the hyper-noir aesthetic the lion's share of the show aims for. I can certainly understand the desire to add some levity to your gun-faced protagonist, but I wish No Guns Life were instead more confident in playing itself straight and using the excesses of noir as a genre as its vehicle for comedy. I don't need a full-on parody, but when you've already committed to having a gun for a protagonist, I think you can stand to poke some fun at yourself. While the second episode gets at this a bit by throwing Juuzo into a desperate search for his favorite cigarette brand, the writing could definitely be sharper.
Conceptually, though, I love Juuzo. What better way to comment on the hypermasculine, violent, and morally grey noir protagonist ideal than literally making the main character a gun? Juuzo's inability to emote with his face slots perfectly into a genre where men pride themselves on their ability to distance themselves from their clients' problems. That's not to say Juuzo doesn't have a lot of personality, and to that end the direction deserves a lot of credit. There's a great beat in the first episode where he casually pushes his head cylinder back into place: a practical action that reads quizzically. The third episode has him loudly sip on some coffee as soon as a mob boss tries to stare him down. He's cool and collected in a delightfully over-the-top way, and it makes him a fun protagonist to follow.
Juuzo on his own might have become overbearing after a while, however, so I'm glad he's been given some partners to work with. So far the story has revolved around Tetsuro, whose youth and uncomplicated sense of justice create friction when paired with the older and more jaded Juuzo. It's a classic dynamic for a reason, but Tetsuro's decision to hijack Juuzo's body already blurs the boundaries of his morality, and I'm eager to see how that progresses. It should be said, too, that Tetsuro both looks like and shares a voice actor with Narancia from JoJo's Part 5, and that's been very hard for me to ignore. The third member of their motley trio is Mary, a back-alley engineer/surgeon for Extended who has a playfully antagonistic relationship with Juuzo. She's mostly been there to provide levity so far, but she's spunky and has an interesting character design (you don't seen an anime girl with a lip ring that often), so I like her.
Thematically, No Guns Life strolls along well-trodden ground, but while the novelty of its messages remains up in the air, it at least seems to be heading in the right direction. The most singular villain we have so far is the entire Berühren corporation, a towering monolith representing the culmination of the military industrial complex. In this world's late-capitalist hellscape, people are used as tools and discarded into the dregs of society when they're no longer useful, which is the cycle Juuzo vocally opposes. Of course, No Guns Life spices things up with nuns who strip into bikini-wearing gunslingers, and with giant spider cyborgs who shoot poison bullets, but the core of its message should be familiar to anybody living in 2019. When corruption and exploitation reign supreme, a man with a gun for a head hardly seems like the most objectionable thing. It's important, too, that Juuzo hasn't even fired his head revolver yet. Sure, he punched a train, but he's a person, not a weapon.
Overall, No Guns Life is off to a solid start—it's marries a familiar setting with a head-turning (or, I should say, head-revolving) protagonist, and the execution has been competent enough to match. I appreciate any commitment to an aesthetic that flies in the face of good taste, and I think having a gun for a head fits that bill. And gimmick aside, it's remained a decently entertaining mixture of both high-octane action and noir-tinged conspiracy. I wish the writing, both plot- and character-wise, were sharper, straighter, and funnier (intentionally or not), but there's room to grow. Most importantly for these early episodes, No Guns Life has established a unique identity for itself, and I'm eager to follow its trajectory.
