TV Anime 'Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro' Announces Additional Cast

Supporting Cast Announced for 'Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou!' TV Anime

 

Additional cast members for the anime adaptation of Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou! (The 8th son? Are you kidding me?) were announced through its official Website on Saturday. In addition to the cast, the website also revealed a new key visual (pictured). The series is scheduled to air in Spring 2020 and will be co-produced by Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP.

Brantack: Yuusaku Yara (Zipang)

Armstrong: Masashi Yamane (Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?)

 

The main cast were announced in September and December of last year, and consists of Junya Enoki (Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu) as Wendelin, Asuka Nishi (High School DxD) as Elize, Yuuna Mimura (Aikatsu!) as Louise, Mikako Komatsu (Hai to Gensou no Grimgar) as Lina, and M.A.O (Mao Ichimichi) (Jitsu wa Watashi wa) as Vilma.

 

The series will be directed by Tatsuo Miura (Hungry Heart: Wild Striker chief animation director) and feature character designs by Kenji Tanabe (Binbougami ga!). Takeshi Miyamoto (Sentou Yousei Shoujo Tasukete! Mave-chan key animation) is tasked with the series composition.

 

Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou! is a fantasy light novel series written by Y.A and illustrated by Choko Fuji that was released through the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between June 2013 and March 2017. Physical copies of the series were published by Kadokawa in April 2014, and its latest volume was released on December 25, 2019.

 

A manga adaptation by Hiroki Kusumoto began its serialization in ComicWalker web manga portal in April 2015. Its 7th volume was released on December 23, 2019.

 

An original story by Y.A will be featured in the series' upcoming mobile game, which will be released on both iOS and Android systems in 2020.

Olympia Kyklos Manga by Thermae Romae's Mari Yamazaki Gets Anime

 

This year's 11th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that Mari Yamazaki's Olympia Kyklos manga is getting an anime adaptation that will air on Tokyo MX this April. The anime will also stream online. Ryō Fujii is directing the anime, which will be a series of shorts.

 

Shueisha will soon open a website and Twitter account for the anime.

 

Yamazaki (Thermae Romae, Steve Jobs) launched the manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine in March 2018. The manga runs once a month in the magazine. Shueisha will publish the manga's fourth compiled volume on February 19. The comedy story centers on a king from Ancient Greece who is transported to the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

 

The 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics will take place from July 24 to August 9, and will be the second time the Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo after the 1964 Summer Olympics.

 

Shueisha published a promotional video for the manga in July 2018.

Yamazaki ended her Thermae Romae manga in March 2013. The manga inspired a television anime mini-series in 2012 and two live-action films. Yen Press publishes the manga in North America, while Discotek licensed the anime in North America. Crunchyroll is streaming the manga with English subtitles and an English dub.

TV Anime 'Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro' Announces Additional Cast

 

Additional cast members for the television series Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro were announced through the anime's official Twitter account on Wednesday. In addition, a promotional video was also released, revealing the opening theme "Honjitsu mo Makoto ni Hare Tenya'' sung by Bokusui Wakayama's voice actor Makoto Furukawa and a broadcast date of April 13 on Tokyo MS, BS Fuji, and CS Family Theater. The ending song "Gondola no Uta'' will be sung by NOW ON AIR.

 

Synopsis

A ghost was seen on the 12th floor of the Asakusa Juunikai building. A newspaper article featuring the sighting brought together Takuboku Ishikawa, who runs a private detective agency to support his family, and his assistant Kyousuke Kindaichi to solve the case.

This announcement also revealed chief director Shinpei Ezaki (Hanebado! director) at LIDENFILMS, director Tomoe Makino (Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama. episode director), character designer Shuuichi Hara (Lost Song, Heart no Kuni no Alice: Wonderful Wonder World), series composition artist Taku Kishimoto (Haikyuu!!), and music by MONACA (Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin, Servant x Service).

 

This anime is being co-produced by LIDENFILMS, Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, and Crunchyroll.
