علی‌رغم کمبود مهارت های مناسب برای نقشش در تیم تحقیقاتی اداره پلیس مرکزی، «ایشیکی توتومارو» می‌خواهد معمای قتل‌ها را حل کند و به مردم کمک کند. به توصیه یکی از سنپای‌های خود، برای دریافت کمک به سراغ «کامونوهاشی رون» گوشه‌گیر می‌رود. ۵ سال پیش، رون آینده‌دارترین کارآگاه یک آکادمی ممتاز به نام «آکادمی آموزش کارآگاهی بلو» بود. با این حال به دلایلی که برای عموم ناشناخته بود، در گمنامی فرو رفت.
توتومارو انتظار یک مرد خوش‌تیپ و خونسرد را دارد، اما با شخص عجیب و غریب بی‌پروا و رُک با موهای ژولیده مواجه می‌شود. پس از سال‌ها انزوا، رون به سختی به خود سابقش شباهت دارد و حتی حاضر نیست حرف کارآگاه را بشنود. گرچه، به همان سرعتی که رون مخالفت می‌کند، نظرش عوض می‌شود و اول به سراغ پرونده قتل‌های زنجیره‌ای فعلی می‌رود.
دلیل اصلی کناره‌گیری رون از دنیای کارآگاهی نه به خاطر عدم تمایل، بلکه به خاطر چیزی خارج از کنترلش بود و توتومارو می‌تواند کلید بازگشت او به آوازه و شهرت سابقش باشد. همراه یکدیگر، افسر بی‌تجربه و کارآگاه دیوانه به هر معمای پیچیده‌ای که سر راهشان قرار می‌گیرد، می‌پردازند.

Ron Kamonohashi, the best student in the history of the elite Detective Training Academy BLUE, has been living as a recluse since BLUE expelled him five years ago. Moreover, he is forbidden to work as a detective, having barely escaped execution after getting involved in a murder case while he was still attending the school. Ron's situation changes drastically when police detective Totomaru Isshiki, following the advice of a senior colleague, seeks him out for help with a criminal case that has remained unsolved for months. Ron reluctantly agrees to help Totomaru and uses his phenomenal intuition to discover the culprit in less than a day. However, it appears that Ron suffers from a mysterious condition that can cause those around him to lose their lives. To Ron's great surprise, Totomaru manages to save the life of someone whom Ron put in jeopardy.
As the unlikely duo starts solving crimes one after another, BLUE sends operatives after its former student to find out if he has resumed investigative work. Fighting against murderers, rogue detectives, and the Metropolitan Police Department, Ron and Totomaru must join forces if they want to survive and see justice prevail.
Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri was released on Blu-ray and DVD in three volumes from January 24, 2024, to March 27, 2024.

ده سال پیش، مکس قهرمان، فرمانروای اهریمنان رو شکست داد، فرمانروای اهریمنان برای اینکه قدرتش رو بازیابی کنه، به خوابی عمیق فرو رفت… اما وقتی بیدار شد، بدنش فقط یه نسخه فسقلی از اون هیبت ترسناک قبلش بود! اون که کنجکاو بود ببینه دشمنش در چه وضعیتی قرار داره، به ملاقات مکس می‌ره، اما متوجه می‌شه که اون در یک آپارتمان یه خوابه کثیف داره زندگی می‌کنه! فرمانروای اهریمنان تصمیم می‌گیره که به خونه مکس نقل مکان کنه تا به دشمن قدیمیش کمک کنه تا دوباره حریف قدری بشه!

After the climactic battle to decide the fate of humanity, the hero Max, alongside his party, emerges victorious against the formidable Demon Lord. As he draws his last breath, the defeated Maou vows to return more powerful than ever to take his revenge.
Ten years later, although Maou has resurrected, the process is incomplete, resulting in him taking on the form of a child. Nevertheless, not wanting to waste another second, Maou pays his nemesis a visit—but the hero who once gallantly protected humankind from the demon's clutches is now a pitiful slob bearing no resemblance to a man of his former caliber.
Despite his disappointment, Maou moves in with Max in hope of building him back up into a worthy adversary. But as the demon learns more about the events that transpired in the decade of his absence, he realizes that there is a story behind Max's downfall that he knows nothing of.
