One Punch Man Season 2 - Episode 8 [Review]
After several weeks of structural chaos, One Punch Man actually delivered a reasonably paced episode with a solid beginning, middle, and end this week. There are a couple diversions to remind us that Garou is playing with a dog and Mumen Rider is defending his friends in the hospital, but aside from that, we focus entirely on the monster assault in the wake of the tournament's end. Most surprising of all, Suiryu steps in as the protagonist now that Saitama has been thrown out of the stadium for his illegal wig. One Punch Man is a weird story, so it's not unprecedented to have an entire episode that (mostly) ignores Saitama, but this honestly felt like a breath of fresh air. In a sense, it's unfortunate to have to resort to plot contrivances that remove the main character in order to craft a story with stakes and tension, but I'm not going to complain.
After moseying towards the stadium for what felt like two weeks (because it was), the Monster Association's secret weapon finally crashes through the gate and reveals himself to be none other than Goketsu, the presumed-dead first champion of the tournament. I didn't expect the story to directly link the monster invasion and tournament arcs at all, so this came as a pleasant surprise, even if it's not the most novel twist. Goketsu reveals another arm of the monsters' master plan, which is to convert normal people into monsters to add to their ranks. The fighters are thus presented with the moral quandary of becoming a monster and working for the enemy versus staying human and dying. This is what I expected Suiryu's conflict to be this week, but he also manages to pleasantly surprise me.
In the wake of his defeat at the hands of Saitama, I expected Suiryu to have more of a cognitive breakdown, but he quickly picks his pieces back up and shoves those uncomfortable thoughts back down where they can fester unseen for a while. I like seeing this new facet of his insecurities, because it humanizes his bravado. He has enough swagger to shamelessly flirt while he preemptively claims victory over the monsters, and he's just arrogant enough to be entertaining. Suiryu also turns out to possess a stronger moral code than I gave him credit for, because at no point does he consider betraying his fellow fighters and turning into a monster. One thing I hope OPM goes into down the line (probably through Garou's story) is that being or becoming a monster isn't an inherently evil act. But in this current situation, Suiryu's refusal demarcates the line between what he's willing to do for strength and what he isn't willing to compromise.
Unfortunately, many other contestants think differently and start chowing down on that monster goo almost immediately. It's especially funny how Choze, Mr. Genetically Pure And Superior In Every Way, exhibits zero hesitation when the opportunity presents itself. It's an understated but pointed observation that guys like him only care about the power to subjugate others, and they have no intellectual or ethical framework outside of that, regardless of their many excuses. Thankfully, Suiryu is all too eager to step up to the challenge and put Choze in his place. As far as fight scenes in the second season of One Punch Man, this episode doesn't do too badly with its intelligible and competently animated brawls. There are still some headache-inducing shots of motion-blurred stills moving on top of each other and plenty of awkward close-ups, but there are several good punches and kicks buried in there too. I have to take what I can get.
Suiryu just barely beats Choze, but the crux of the episode is his gradual realization that he's hopelessly outmatched. Goketsu proves to be every bit the monster he's been hyped up as, swatting Suiryu's body around like a gnat. Bakuzan also emerges as a monster of his own making, similarly giving into the lust for power that tempted everyone else. While he gives his all, Suiryu simply doesn't have enough strength to contend with these titans. The shell-shocked Suiryu is even more flabbergasted once the licensed heroes put their already bruised bodies in between him and Goketsu to help him escape. It's a futile effort and they all know it, but their willingness to try despite impossible odds is exactly the kind of the fist-clenching heroism that makes this kind of story compelling.
I really like how the episode handles Suiryu's experience with palpable fear. This is a guy with the swagger of someone who's never had to struggle with anything, so there's definitely some schadenfreude to his sudden brush with death, but there's also more than just desserts going around. Suiryu begging for help could easily be seen as evidence of weakness—and the monsters even taunt him about this—but it's contextualized as a moment of strength for him. The acknowledgement that he's not all-powerful is an important point of growth. Knowing when to ask for help is a lot harder than most people think, and it's as much a sign of maturity as asserting one's independence. Lucky for him, Suiryu has a bald guardian angel listening to his pleas.
Built around the highs and lows of Suiryu's character arc and culminating in a classic feat of heroic salvation, this is one of the most straightforward and strongest episodes of this arc. I still find it funny that the narrative doesn't really know what to do with Saitama right now, but this is proof that the show can be pretty good in spite of that. After all, Mumen Rider's parts in the first season were some of the most memorable and emotionally resonant. ONE can be excellent at finding the heart in absurd situations, and I hope we see more of that quality as the season progresses.

Isekai Quartet - Episode 8 [Review]
The prospect of a field trip to the beach, a staple event in any high school anime, is just too big to contain within a single episode of Isekai Quartet, especially given the students involved. As this episode proves, setting up the trip easily warrants a full episode alone.
Spinning off from last episode, Emilia quickly proves to be the ideal choice for Class Rep; she can even soothe Aqua without resorting to intimidation, and that's no mean feat. The activities chosen are all field trip standards, including a Test of Courage, which as Subaru points out, becomes more interestingly twisted when a bunch of monsters are already among the student body. I can't wait to see what Roswaal comes up for this test, especially what might scare Ains and his crew; I dearly hope either giant frogs or alligators are involved for the KONOSUBA crew.(1) The end result could only be a disaster, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Also, there's a nice catch on Puck's reference to the time, which is a deep cut for Re:Zero fans.(2)
Shopping for swimsuits is also a core part of field trip preparations, although it takes on more involved gags for this crowd. The spit-take moment is Albedo and Shalltear's ruminations on possible swimsuits for Ains, with Shalltear crowing about one suit fully showing off his pelvic bone (it's best not to think about that one too much), although Tanya also brings up a point that's only slightly addressed in her series: Visha, her right-hand woman, is the only (other?) female in a battalion that's otherwise all-male. Normally this isn't an issue because the uniform and combat gear mute gender differences, but it won't be possible to conceal Visha's figure in even a conservative swimsuit. Of course, word has probably gotten around to Tanya's underlings that Visha is not to be messed with(3), but I still foresee all sorts of shenanigans coming from this change in appearance.
That brings us to the episode's funniest sequence at the end, where Kazuma and Aqua encounter Albedo and Shalltear. Kazuma finally realizes that Albedo is indeed a succubus(4), but the big joke is that both Albedo and Shalltear have been hiding mortifying secrets. Albedo is actually a virgin despite being a succubus(5), and Shalltear pads her bra. Naturally, the KONOSUBA crew unwittingly walks in on both reveals. (Also watch for a cameo of a random adventurer from KONOSUBA at the end.)
In general, the series is back to maintaining its meticulous balance between the four crossover series, and it's still not missing a single opportunity to make deep references or take advantage of the weirdness that spins out of this group trying to do normal things. The fun continues unabated!
Aqua was once terrorized by alligators, and multiple members of the group have been swallowed by giant toads.
Puck has to go to sleep at sunset.
Visha proved in the epilogue of one episode that she has a mean right hook in her sleep.
This is more significant because Kazuma has some previous experience with a succubi-run bordello.

Date a Live: Rio Reincarnation Game's Western Release Delayed to July
Idea Factory International announced on Wednesday it has delayed the North American release date of the PlayStation 4 version of Compile Heart's Date A Live Rio Reincarnation game to July 23. The company has also delayed the European release to July 26. The game was previously slated to ship on June 18 and June 21 in North America and Europe respectively.
Idea Factory International also revealed that the game will launch on PC via Steam on July 23. (That version was previously announced for a June release.)
The PS4 version will have two modified CG scenes. The Steam version will have no edited scenes.
Idea Factory International describes the game:
A brand new character named Rio appears, who calls Shido ”Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.”
After having escaped nearly being trapped in a virtual reality, Shido is afflicted by a strange feeling.
A disturbance in the world in which he lives. Someone is out there… He cannot shake the helpless, uncomfortable feeling. This strange feeling persists… A new paradise. A girl who has the same last name as Rinne–Rio Sonogami. The girl, along with Marina… for the sake of everyone's happiness, they wander in search of “the most important thing.”
The Date A Live Rio Reincarnation HD game shipped on PS4 in October 2017 in Japan. The game collection includes ports of the Date A Live: Rinne Utopia and Date A Live: Arusa Install PlayStation 3 games, as well as the Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation PlayStation Vita game. Idea Factory International's Western release will also include all three games.
Compile Heart is developing a new game in the series titled Date A Live Ren Dystopia, which is slated for release for PS4 in Japan this summer.

Code Vein Game's Behind-the-Scenes Video Shows Staff Commentary
Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a behind-the-scenes video for the Code Vein post-apocalyptic role-playing game on Wednesday. The video includes commentary from the game's development staff.

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced last July that the game's release has been delayed to this year. The game was originally slated to launch in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 27, and for PC via Steam on September 28. The game was slated to launch outside Japan for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on September 28.

In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. The anime studio ufotable is animating the opening cinematic, and VAMPS is performing the opening song "Underworld."
Kotoni Shiroishi launched the CODE VEIN ‐Memory echoes- manga adaptation of the game in Kadokawa's Dengeki PlayStation magazine in June 2018.

Brothers Conflict: Precious Baby Game Gets Switch Port
The official website for Idea Factory's Brothers Conflict: Precious Baby PlayStaion Vita game revealed on Wednesday that the game will get a port for the Nintendo Switch. The release will bundle a special booklet and two clear bookmarks, and people who pre-order will also receive a special booklet.
The original PS Vita game is part of Idea Factory's Otomate brand of games for female players, and it shipped in 2016. The "simulation love game with a slightly dangerous love between siblings" is itself a port that combines the Brothers Conflict Passion Pink and Brothers Conflict Brilliant Blue PlayStation Portable games.
Sylph's original Brothers Conflict novel series and multimedia franchise launched in 2010. Udajo illustrated the original story and Takashi Mizuno created the scenario. Atsuko Kanase planned and developed the original concept. The franchise includes novels, games, manga, and anime.
Funimation describes the story of the anime:

Funimation Acquires UK Anime Distributor Manga Entertainment
Sony Pictures Television's Funimation Productions, LLC (Funimation) announced a deal to acquire UK anime distributor Manga Entertainment Ltd. (Manga Entertainment) yesterday. With the deal, Funimation will become the largest distributor of anime in the UK and Ireland.
The two companies have teamed up in the past, with Funimation sub-licensing its properties to Manga Entertainment until 2016, and again from late 2018 until the acquisition. Though full details were not disclosed, the announcement indicates the two will pool their properties to bring more anime to the UK and Ireland than ever. Manga Entertainment is set to distribute Funimation titles on Blu-ray and DVD, while Funimation will begin adding Manga Entertainment's library to its FunimationNow streaming service.
Popular anime confirmed for streaming on FunimationNow in the UK and Ireland include Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto: Shippuuden, and the Sword Art Online franchise. Available titles as of the announcement include the first season of Sword Art Online, Akira, Koukaku Kidoutai 2: Innocence, Toaru Majutsu no Index seasons one and two, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S, and a trio of films by Mamoru Hosoda: Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, Summer Wars, and Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki.
Manga Entertainment produces, licenses, and distributes anime, and was founded in the UK in 1987. It was a key player in popularizing anime in the West and has also dubbed anime and published manga in the UK, the latter under its Manga Books imprint. It has branches in the US and Australia, though both have been dormant in recent years and were not part of Funimation's acquisition.
Funimation, also a producer, licensor, and distributor, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and looks to continue to expand its presence in the global market for English-subtitled and dubbed anime. In January 2014 it began a simuldub program, allowing viewers quick access to English-dubbed anime via FunimationNow. The company claims its catalogue is comprised of over 600 titles representing over 10,000 hours of content. This content is accessible through FunimationNow in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Godzilla Suit Actor Haruo Nakajima is the Real Boss of Monsters in Coffee Collaboration
Legendary Pictures' Godzilla: King of the Monsters is set to open in U.S. and Japan theaters on May 31. The gargantuan Godzilla may be the work of computer wizards now, but in 1954 the monster was controlled by one man: Haruo Nakajima.
Nakajima wore the suit to play Godzilla in the original Godzilla film, and went on to reprise the role in eleven more films: Godzilla Rides Again, King Kong vs Godzilla, Mothra vs. Godzilla, Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster, Invasion of the Astro-Monster, Godzilla vs the Sea Monster, Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, All Monsters Attack, Godzilla vs Hedorah, and Godzilla vs. Gigan. He also played other giant monsters, including Rodan and King Kong.
Japanese beverage company SUNTORY's Boss coffee brand honored Nakajima in a new commercial ahead of Godzilla: King of the Monsters' premiere date. The commercial includes English subtitles.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will star Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, The Conjuring, Bates Motel), and Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) will star in the film as a father, mother, and daughter. Warner Bros. describes the film:

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls Game's PC Release Delayed
XSEED Games revealed on Wednesday that its release of Acquire's Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls game on the PC via Steam and the Humble Store has been delayed due to "an unforeseen issue involving IP licensing." The game was previously slated to release on Wednesday. XSEED Games will announce a new release date in the future, but is listing that the game will launch this summer.
The game shipped in Japan for the PlayStation 3 in 2009, and shipped in the West in 2011. The game also launched for iOS in 2011, and for the PlayStation Vita in 2015.
The game is part of the long-running Wizardry game series, and was the first Western release for a Wizardry game since 2001. AnimEigo co-founder Robert Woodhead co-created the original Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord game in 1981.

Atsushi Tamura (Chiisana Eiyuu: Kani to Tamago to Toumei Ningen original illustration) will direct the animation and Hiroshi Taniguchi (Kotonoha no Niwa) will serve as art director. The characters will be designed by Masayoshi Tanaka (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.). Senran Kagura Reflexions Game Heads to PC on June 24
XSEED Games announced on Wednesday that it will release the SENRAN KAGURA Reflexions (Shinobi Refle -Senran Kagura-) game on the PC on June 24. The announcement noted that the game's controls have been adapted for PC.
The game launched digitally for the Nintendo Switch last September. Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games released the game digitally in Japan in November 2017.
In the game, players use various massage techniques on Asuka. Depending on where the player touches Asuka, she will transform into different "moods" and appearances. For example, Asuka will be able to take on the form of a club senior, younger sister, idol, or home tutor. Asuka has seven different story scenes and six unique endings.
Marvelous established a new subsidiary called Honey∞Parade Games in May 2017 to focus on the production and promotion of the Senran Kagura series. Series producer Kenichirō Takaki previously headed the subsidiary before he left Marvelous.
The second season of the franchise's television anime series, Senran Kagura Shinovi Master: Tokyo Yōma-hen-, premiered last October. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and Funimation streamed an English dub.

Main Cast Members Announced for 'Nichijou' English Dub
Funimation has revealed the English dub voice actors for the main characters of Kyoto Animation's Nichijou (Nichijou - My Ordinary Life). The company will ship a Blu-ray and a digital version on July 23, which will also include Nichijou: Nichijou no 0-wa (My Ordinary Life Episode 0).

'Machikado Mazoku' TV Anime Reveals Lead Cast
The official website of J.C.Staff's TV anime adaptation of Izumo Ito's Machikado Mazoku manga has revealed the main cast members and a new key visual (pictured). The anime will air on July 12 on TBS, followed by BS-TBS on July 14.

یعنی منظورم این بود که فیلم با این محتوا دیدم. یه فیلم هفت دلاور هم داشتیم.
این انیمه کلیت داستان همین است.
یه روستا، سامورایی استخدام میکنه تا جلوی راهزنا رو بگیرن.
ولی راهزنها یه نموره فرق دارن. انگار موجود بیگانه باشه. یا سلاحهایی که دارن عادی نیست.
تا قسمت نهم دیدم.
هنوز این گروه سامورایی نتونستن به روستا برسن.
فعلا درگیری دارن تا خودشون رو به اون روستا برسونن.
باید دید چی میشه.
یه سری کاراکتر باحال داره! حیف که الان اسمهاشون رو بلد نیستم.
قسمت 18 رو هم دیدم.
خب خب خب... بالاخره جنگ با راهزنها تمام شد. و ساموراییها پیرزو شدن.
ولی یکی از ساموراییها، کُشته شد. همونی که میتونست نمایش اجرا کنه و تیر و ... همه چی رو بادستش بگیره.
حالا نوبت نجات دخترهایی است که راهزنها به پایتخت فروختن.
کانبا سان (کاراکتر مورد علاقهم) نقشه کشید. خودش رو به عنوان مجرم معرفی کرد. رفت داخل پایتخت تا دخترهای دزدیده شده رو نجات بده.
موقعی که به امپراتور رسید و میخواست اون رو بکشه تا دخترها رو نجات بده، یکی از دخترها که از امپراتور باردار بود، گفت من اون رو دوست دارم و بر نمیگردم.
و کانبا سان هم دیگه هیچ حرکتی نکرد و دوباره دستگیر شد.
و حالا باید دید چه اتفاقی میافته. هنوز چند تا سامورایی در دهکده موندن تا کمک کنن.
ولی دو نفر دیگه راه افتادن که به پایتخت برن.
قسمت 22 رو هم دیدم. امپراتورِ قبلی کُشته شد. این یکی هم که جاش اومد، همچین خیلی حیلهگر است.
این هم یواشکی به راهزنها میگه به روستا حمله کنین، بعد خودش میره نجاتشون میده. روستاییها هم خیلی ریلکس کلی برنج مخفی رو بهش میدن.
کانبا سان و بقیه موفق میشن دخترها رو آزاد کنن. همه برگردن به روستاهای خودشون.
الان هر پنج نفر سامورایی در یک شهر هستن. یکی شون که مُرد، یکی هم قهر کرد رفت.
امپراتور جدید، در ملاءعام کلی از کانبا سان تعریف و تمجید کرد. حتی موقعی که دستور داد جلوی همه، سرش رو قطع کنن.
ولی موفق نشد، برگشت گفت تو رو میبخشم و این حرفها ...
بعد که کانبا سان و بقیه، دخترها رو آزاد کرد و از پایتخت رفتن، امپراتور دستور داد که یواشکی اونا رو بکشن!
این امپراتورِ جدید هم نامرد است! خودش امپراتورِ قبلی رو کُشت.
تا اینجای کار که از این انیمه راضی بودم.
قسمت 24 رو هم دیدم.
امپراتور پایتخت رو حرکت داده و به سمت روستاهای مختلف میره. الان رسیدن به روستای اصلی. نقشه کشیده اونا رو مجرم معرفی کنه که فرستادهی امپراتور رو کُشتن.
جنگ در گرفته. فقط یک سامورایی (همونی که قهر کرده، از همه بچهتر است) در روستا است. داره تنهایی میجنگه.
کانبه سان و بقیه هم دارن کم کم به روستا میرسن.
این قسمت یه جوری بود انگار فضاییها حمله کردن. یک عالمه ربات رو فرستادن که جنگ کنن! خب نامردی است.
قسمت 25 رو دیدم و میخوام زار زار گریه کنم! کیزونو کُشته شد! هیهاچی کُشته شد!
یعنی اینقده از مُردن کیزونو ناراحت هستم که نگوووو!
فقط یه قسمت مونده! این جنگ نهایی است! باید دید چی میشه.
نکنه یه وقت کانبا سان هم کُشته بشه؟ خیلی دردناک میشه.
قسمت 26 (آخر) رو هم دیدم. میشه گفت تراژدی حساب شد.
از هفت سامورایی، فقط سه نفر زنده موندن! و کانبا سان یکی از اونا بود.
پایتخت نابود شد و سقوط کرد، امپراتور و راهزنها نابود شدن.
و اون سه سامورایی باقی مانده، روستا رو ترک کردن و هر کدوم به راه خودشون رفتن.
خب میشه گفت پایان بدی نداشت.

Black Clover - Episode 84 [Review]
The most important story conflicts may have been dealt with already, but the Royal Knights exams still have one heck of a climactic battle up their sleeve with the final match, where Team P (Yuno, Noelle, and En) faces off against Team I (Rill Boismortier and two others). With Asta's crew, there was a clear effort to make teamwork a foundational element of the tournament—even if the fights themselves have been oddly bereft of any actual teamwork—but this week throws pretense completely out the window. This is a Yuno vs. Rill fight, no more, no less.
There is a certain thematic alchemy at play, as we've focused on topics like peasantry vs. royalty and characters working hard to fight their way to the top. Now that the relevant characters have burnt themselves out, the spotlight returns to the wunderkinds. Yuno and Rill are natural talents; they're not bad people like Langris, but there's still a melancholy that comes with them getting the coolest, flashiest fight in Asta's absence. This definitely feels like a counterpart to My Hero Academia's Sports Festival arc, where Midoriya's the most sympathetic fighter, yet it's Bakugo and Todoroki in the final round. But at least MHA is good at giving its whiz kids comprehensible faults and emotional issues. Rill's gifted-artist/mama's boy thing is still loopy, and Yuno is a plank of wood.
However, none of this should distract from how absolutely stellar this episode looks. These two are going all out, and so are the animators. It's nearly twenty minutes of straight flexing, as Yuno's wind spells and Rill's art magic go head to head. The animation is similar to the original Demon Asta fight, where the battlefield is abstracted to a much larger size and the two fighters practically surf on each other's attacks with balletic precision, even if the art isn't as deranged or experimental as that episode. It's easily a production value high point for the entire series.
In the end, Yuno claims the victory, but only because Rill got careless and let his magic go so wild that he shattered his own team's crystal by accident. No one truly won or lost this battle, since the two of them proved to be on roughly equal terms, and losing in the tournament doesn't mean you're out of the Royal Knights. The fight itself is a delight to watch, but the episode's final scene is its strongest moment, where the Wizard King meets with Zora and encourages him to join the Magic Knights for real. The Wizard King was on good terms with Zora's dad back in the day, and the Magic Knights' star ranking system was introduced specifically to reward people like him and move the organization away from royalty masturbation. Zora shrugs the kind words off in order to play it cool, but you can tell a heartfelt conversation was had under the surface. There's an emotional finality to this scene that's really nice.
Overall, the Royal Knights exams have been pretty indicative of how I feel about Black Clover in general. I don't think it's particularly well-executed as a shonen battle series, and having a tournament like this really highlights that this show doesn't know what to do with the genre conventions that it apes so freely. The mechanics of the story are so messy and underdeveloped, which occasionally contributes to that earnest heart-on-your-sleeve fervor, but just as often it feels curiously soulless. Regardless, Black Clover does reliably reach its peaks—moments that come close to making the grind feel worth it—and I wouldn't want to deny it that praise.

One Punch Man Season 2 - Episode 7 [Review]
It feels like things of consequence actually happen in this episode of One Punch Man, which is small praise but a welcome reprieve from the last few weeks of wheel-spinning. The tournament arc finally comes to a head (and a shiny head at that) as we blitz through the final rounds. There are still too many stories happening concurrently for us to connect with any single one of them, and somehow we're introduced to another new subplot this week about Silverfang's friends. Meanwhile, Garou shows up for all of five seconds, and Genos wakes up at the end of the episode in the same crater the big bad monster left him in at the end of last episode. There's no sense of flow to how all this is pieced together. This probably won't be as glaring an issue when the season is digested all at once by later viewers, but the week-long breaks just add to the sense of disjointedness.
This entire arc feels structured like a hedge maze—full of branches but with few leading anywhere. A particularly weird consequence of this is the name of this episode, “The Class S Heroes.” These heroes are present in the episode, but they're nowhere near what I'd consider the most important part of this segment, which is Saitama finishing his tournament. The staff don't even consider them the most important part, because all of the production value they can muster goes towards Saitama's fight with Suiryu. The handful of Class S heroes pretty much show up to introduce themselves to the audience, presumably because they'll be more relevant later on. That's fine for basic storytelling, but they're certainly not a significant enough presence to deserve the episode title. This might seem like a petty complaint—and it is—but it's one of the many consequences of this arc's lack of focus.
At least the Class S showcase gives One Punch Man the opportunity to flex some if its weirdness. Some of the top heroes have predictable powers—Tornado and her telekinesis, Silverfang and his martial arts, Genos being a robot, etc. But some of them are just plain out there. Garou is all too eager to pick a fight with a dude who wears a dog costume and sits sphinx-like in the middle of a public plaza all day. The big poisonous muscular snake lady is defeated by the Pig God swallowing her whole, like he's some kind of snake. It's hard not to make comparisons to My Hero Academia and its variety of Quirks, but One Punch Man's more jokey nature sees it indulge in much more esoteric means of fighting evil. Sometimes the jokes don't land, but I appreciate the willingness to experiment and poke fun at the absurdity of superpowers.
Despite its many divergences, the main thrust of the episode is the conclusion of the tournament Saitama grifted his way into. Naturally, he makes his way to the final bout with little effort, punching out both the boisterous Sourface and the sadistic Choze on the way. Choze unleashes an entire spiel about his inherent genetic superiority guaranteeing him the victory, only to be immediately knocked into the stratosphere. It's a familiar riff on one of ONE's pet themes, which is that people are defined by their own choices and their own actions. Nobody is born with any kind of guarantee, and that sure as hell applies to a eugenicist wannabe-übermensch. It's good to see some people get punched.
As he finally squares off against Suiryu, the fight actually manages to craft some tension in an amusingly absurd way. Saitama is never in any danger of losing the match, but he is in danger of losing his toupee thanks to the sheer force of Suiryu's blows. It's difficult to make any battle with Saitama interesting, so I'm glad for this outside-the-box thinking. Along the same lines as Choze, Suiryu postures himself as one of the chosen, whose strength alone is more than enough to elevate him above the masses. To him, being strong is fun because it lets him do whatever he wants. Saitama, of course, is the complete opposite. Becoming strong has sapped all of the fun he once had from his life, because there's nothing to struggle against except his own ennui. Saitama is a thoughtful and humble guy when it comes down to it, and Suiryu is too shortsighted and intoxicated with himself to actually reflect on what he could do with his strength beyond proving its potency. His fate is the same as all the others who meet the business end of Saitama's fist—only in this case, it's Saitama's butt, which is even more poetic.
Saitama is still disqualified because his non-Charanko identity is discovered, but the damage to Suiryu's inflated self-esteem is done nonetheless. And the story isn't over, because monsters are still overwhelming the city, and a particularly bad one seems to be headed the tournament's way. This episode also makes sure we know that people can ingest monster cells to become monsters themselves. Silverfang has already cautioned that Garou might be going down that road, and it's possible Suiryu might succumb to that temptation as well in his pursuit of unmatchable strength. Either way, with one of its biggest subplots concluded, the end of this mess of an arc should hopefully be in sight.

Bungo Stray Dogs - Episode 32 [Review]
The Great Gatsby fans, this one's for you. After the crash of the Moby Dick at the end of last season, many of the remaining Guild members were left unaccounted for. (And no, I'm not talking about Lovecraft's walk into the sea/journey home.) We know where a few of them are, perhaps most importantly that Nathaniel Hawthorn joined up with Dostoyevsky, and as of recently we learned that Lucy Maud Montgomery has cleaned up her act and now works at the café on the ground floor of the Agency's building. But the most important member of the Guild was missing: leader F. Scott Fitzgerald himself.
Well, wonder no more, because after what we can assume to be months of diligent searching undeterred by the assumption of his death, Louisa May Alcott has found him. As the Moby Dick went down, Fitzgerald unconsciously used his Ability to cash in the last precious thing he had on him – his wedding ring – and save himself, but broken by his defeat and his lack of funds (which equates to lack of power given his skill), he's been living in those same slums that Chuuya started out in. When Louisa finds him, he's a broken man, convinced of his own worthlessness.
Before we get into the fun Gatsby references, however, I'm not sure I'm thrilled with how Louisa May Alcott's being portrayed. Alcott, like many of her heroines, wasn't exactly a wilting lily of a woman, although she may come off that way today if you don't take into account the time she lived in. Her most famous heroine, Jo March, is famously strong, and even her less overtly rebellious creations, like An Old-Fashioned Girl's Polly, show a strength of mind and character that stands out among contemporary children's books. (For comparison, look at the heroine of Kate Douglass Wiggins' The Birds' Christmas Carol.) So why, then, is Louisa so completely reliant upon Fitzgerald? Her one wish when she finds him again is to have him “give her orders,” something not even saintly Beth March necessarily desired. While none of the characters in the show are meant to be taken as exact representations of the authors or their works, Louisa still stands out as feeling very off when many of the other characters have at least a trait or two that is in line with either their source or their bibliography. Perhaps Alcott's books come across differently in Japanese translation.
In any event, Fitzgerald certainly needs Louisa's devotion in order to come back to himself. Whether you read that as her being the Daisy to his Gatsby or not, he certainly doesn't waste any time returning to his old, confident self. Even before we start to get into the Gatsby references, this makes for some fun scenes, not the least of which is him discovering the wonders of bargain shopping, although him just walking into some guy's apartment and sitting down to watch TV is pretty great too. But the real meat of the episode is when he confronts T.J. Eckleberg, a character from his novel. Eckleberg in the book is an oculist, or what today we'd call an ophthalmologist, and in the show he's the developer of a facial recognition software, which seems like a reasonable update. He's also accused of having killed George Wilson, the man who in F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel murders Jay Gatsby. (In the book it's Wilson's wife who dies.) More interesting for fans of the author, the actual killer is Thomas Buchanan, whom Fitzgerald based on William Mitchell, a man he actively resented. Getting to ruin Buchanan in the episode can be seen as wish-fulfillment for Bungo Stray Dogs' Fitzgerald and an example of how the little details can really show the research that went into this.
In terms of the overall plot, we now know that Dostoyevsky has been sitting in a basement slowly filling a vessel with his blood, which can't possibly be good. Fitzgerald is still after the book he initially came to Yokohama for, and with Louisa and now Eckleberg, he's ready to get the Guild going again and resume the hunt. Lucy's friendship with Atsushi also may be a portent of warmer relations between Guild and Agency, because Edgar Allen Poe (and his rabies-bearing friend) and Ranpo clearly still have an amicable relationship, and Louisa does specifically send Poe to Ranpo when they need to solve Wilson's murder. Like the Mafia and the Agency banded together to fight the Guild, perhaps the Guild will now team up with the other two to fight the Rats in the House of the Dead. If Dostoyevsky is as bad as he seems, that may be the only hope any of them have.

Oozaki and Ikurou launched the manga on MAGCOMI's Comic Garden website in February 2018 and ended it on March 20. MAGCOMI printed the manga under its Blades Comic imprint and published the second and final volume on May 10.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English earlier this January and plans to ship the first volume on September 10.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Game Gets Release on PS4, PC
Game designer and Grasshopper Manufacture founder Goichi "Suda51" Suda announced at the MomoCon event on Saturday that the Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes game is getting a release on PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam). Suda51 had teased earlier this month that he would be making an announcement at the convention.
The game launched on the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on January 18.
In the game's story, The Bad is out to avenge the murder of her daughter Bad Girl at the hands of Travis Touchdown, but a game console known as the Death Drive Mark II sucks both of them in.
The game features collaborations with independent game developers. Players can explore seven different games, including action, racing, and puzzle games.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is the latest installment in Goichi "Suda51" Suda's No More Heroes game series. Grasshopper Manufacture released No More Heroes for the Wii in 2007, and later for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, shipped on the Wii in 2010.

Touken Ranbu Throws Support Behind Marugame Castle Wall Reconstruction Efforts
The Marugame Castle in Kagawa Prefecture is famous for having the tallest stone walls in Japan. Unfortunately, they suffered damage last year from heavy rain. As reconstruction efforts are underway, the castle's official website announced on May 7 that the Nikkari Aoe sword will be displayed to the public between June 1 and 9.
The Nikkari Aoe is the name of a famous Japanese sword owned by the Marugame Kyōgoku clan. It is also the name of a Touken Ranbu character.
The Touken Ranbu browser game and anime franchise is showing its support for the Marugame Castle's wall reconstruction with a brand new illustration of Nikkari Aoe (the character) that was released on the franchise's official Twitter account on May 17.

Nitroplus is also selling A4-sized clear files with the aforementioned illustration as a charity item. These clear files will be sold at Marugame Castle's event space. All proceeds will go towards the wall's reconstruction.
The reconstruction is expected to be completed by 2023.
Touken Ranbu is a "sword personification training game" published by DMM that takes famous swords from Japanese history and interprets them as bishōnen. Nitroplus designed the characters and scenario. The game launched in Japan in 2015 and it has more than 1.5 million registered users.

Square Enix Announces Star Ocean First Departure R Game for PS4, Switch
Square Enix announced on Saturday that it will release Star Ocean First Departure R, an HD port with new features of its Star Ocean First Departure remake game, for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Enix released the first Star Ocean game for the Super Famicom in 1996, and then Square Enix released Star Ocean First Departure as a remake on the PlayStation Portable in 2007. tri-Ace developed both games.
Square Enix opened a website for the new game on Saturday, and also announced that Katsumi Enami (original character designer for Baccano!, Restaurant to Another World franchises) is serving as character illustrator. The company revealed the character illustrations for (from left to right) Roddick Farrence, Millie Chliette, and Dorne Murtough.

The game was followed by its sequel Revenant Kingdom on PlayStation 4 in March 2018.
Yoshiyuki Momose (Mimi wo Sumaseba) will direct the film that will feature an original story. Joe Hisashi (Howl no Ugoku Shiro) will compose the music and Akihiro Hino, the CEO of Level-5, is in charge of the script.

Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko Anime Gets Novel in July
The official Twitter account for the anime adaptations of the Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko multimedia franchise revealed the cover and July 19 release date for the franchise's first novel on Saturday. The novel's title is Toji no Miko - Ryūkyū-ken Fūroku (Toji no Miko - The Chronicle of the Ryūkyū Swords). Aoi Akashiro, the script supervisor for the Katana Maidens: Mini Toji anime, is penning the novel, with art by the franchise's original character designer Yoshinori Shizuma. Tatsuya Takahashi, the script supervisor and writer for the first anime, is credited for the novel's story concept.
The anime's official website previously revealed the novel on April 26.

The novel's story is set one year before the Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko anime, and begins in August 2017 when two individuals arrive at Naha Airport. The story centers on Heijō Institute third year middle school student Hokuto Asahina and Renpu Girls' School first year middle school student Suu Inami. Both are chosen to test the Storm Armor project that the Sword Administration Bureau is jointly developing with the U.S. Armed Forces. On the same day, another Toji arrives in Okinawa: Yume Tsumebakuro, a sixth grader at Ayanokōji Martial Arts School. All three do not yet know how their destinies intertwine. The story chronicles the secret struggle centering on the Storm Armor that involves the three girls, the Elite Guard, and the Mokusa organization.
In the franchise's story, since ancient times, shrine maidens who wield swords have been exorcising "aradama," strange monsters that threaten the human world. These young women who wear school uniforms and a sword are called "Toji," and they serve as an official unit within the police force as a "special religious service police squad." The government authorizes the Toji to wear swords and serve as government officials, and the government has set up five schools throughout the country for the girls to attend.
The girls live ordinary school lives, while occasionally performing their duties, wielding their swords and using various powers to fight and protect the people. In the spring, the five schools send their best Toji to compete in a tournament. As the tournament comes closer, all of the representatives rigorously train themselves in order to get stronger and improve their skills.
Studio Gokumi's original 24-episode television anime project premiered in January 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub. The franchise also inspired the Mini Toji short anime, which premiered on January 5. Crunchyroll also streamed this anime.
The Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi smartphone game launched for iOS and Android devices in Japan in March 2018.
Sakae Saitō launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine in October 2017, and ended it on March 26.

Girly Air Force Manga by Takahiro Seguchi Ends
The July issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine published the final chapter of Takahiro Seguchi's manga adaptation of Kōji Natsumi's Girly Air Force light novel series on Saturday.
In the novels' story, mysterious flying creatures known as Zai suddenly appear, and in order to fight the creatures, mankind creates fighter aircraft called "Daughters," as well as the automatic fighting mechanism "Anima," which are shaped like human girls. The story centers on a young man named Kei Narutani, who yearns to fly in the sky, and an Anima considered to be humanity's trump card, a girl named Gripen.
Seguchi launched the manga in Monthly Shōnen Ace last October. Kadokawa published the manga's first compiled book volume last December.
Natsumi launched the novel series in 2014, and Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko imprint published the 11th volume on March 9, and will publish the 12th volume on June 8. Asagi Tōsaka provides the illustrations for the novels. Natsumi previously worked on the series composition for Gust's Blue Reflection game. The novel series inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered on January 10. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
ADV Manga previously published the first volume of Seguchi's Enmusu manga, while Vertical published both volumes of Seguchi's Sickness Unto Death manga.

Gintama Manga's 'Final' Chapter Will Launch on June 17
Shueisha revealed on Monday that the "final chapter" of Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga will launch on the official Gintama app on June 17.
This year's 26th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump had actually stated on Monday that the chapter will launch on June 10, but Shueisha posted on Twitter later on Monday that due to "various circumstances" the chapter will launch on June 17 instead. The same misprint will be in the upcoming 27th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
The manga's "last fanbook" will ship this summer. The magazine also stated that the manga's "final volume" is "planned" for a simultaneous release with the fanbook.
The manga ended its run in Weekly Shonen Jump in last year's 42nd issue on September 15 as planned, but Shueisha announced on September 15 that the manga would continue "for a little while longer" in Shueisha's Jump Giga magazine. The manga's run in Jump Giga launched with a 54-page chapter in the magazine's first winter issue on December 28. Gintama ran in Jump Giga for three consecutive issues. The third chapter in Jump Giga announced in February that the manga would continue in the free app.
The manga then launched in the app on May 13, and the second chapter in the app debuted on Monday. The next and supposed "final" chapter will then launch on June 17.
Sorachi began the manga in 2004. Viz Media published the first 23 volumes in English.
The manga has inspired several anime series including the latest one that started airing last July, two anime films, various OVAs and event anime, two live-action films, and two live-action net spinoff series. A new anime is "probably" in production.

Former Dragon Ball Editor Kazuhiko Torishima Comments on Dragon Ball Evolution
Kazuhiko Torishima is the representative director of the Hakusensha publishing company. Before that, however, he worked at Shueisha and was Akira Toriyama's editor during Dr. Slump and the first half of Dragon Ball. On April 23, he held a lecture at Bunka Gakuen University in Tokyo where he answered questions from the audience. One of the questions that came up was about the live-action Hollywood film Dragonball: Evolution, which released in 2009. Torishima was asked, "What did you think of Dragonball: Evolution?"
Torishima responded: "It was my biggest failure in regards to screen adaptation." He said that after the film's failure, he spoke with lawyers familiar with screen adaptations and came to the conclusion that Shueisha would have had to pay money to have a say in how the material was handled. According to what he heard, the right to veto was a 5 billion yen (US$45 million) investment.
However, Torishima went on, this figure would have been 60-70% of Shueisha's yearly profit at the time, so they were not prepared to pay that sum. "Knowing what I know now of Hollywood, I would have said, 'Pay the 5 billion. In exchange, I want the distribution rights in Asia. I'll make sure you get a return on the money." I would have negotiated and gotten the veto rights," he said.
Other topics that came up during the lecture include the decline of print magazines and manga, the difficulties of bringing exposure to new artists in the age of digital manga and webtoons, and the necessity of the media mix in order to sell manga in today's world.
Dragonball: Evolution opened in the U.S. in April 2009 and holds a 15% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Akira Toriyama himself expressed dissatisfaction with the film in 2016. The film's writer Ben Ramsey apologized to the fans in 2016.

شرکت کوالکام سونی را تهدید به قطع همکاری کرده بود!
امروز و در دادگاهی در کشور ایالات متحده آمریکا حکمی برای بزرگترین شرکت تولید کننده چیپست های پردازنده مرکزی گوشی های هوشمند یعنی کوالکام در رابطه با جلوگیری از پرونده های ضد انحصار صادر شد. قاضی لوسی (Lucy) متوجه شد که این شرکت وظیفه توسعه و تامین پردازنده های مرکزی اکثر شرکت های تولید کننده تلفن های همراه را به عهده دارد و با انحصار گرایی در تامین محصولات خود، سایر شرکایش را تحت فشار قرار می دهد؛ که این شرکا را شرکت های تولید کننده تلفن های همراه هوشمند مانند سونی موبایل تشکیل می دهند. در متن زیر مدارک و مستندات مرتبط با شرکت سونی موبایل جمع آوری شده توسط کمیسیون تجارت فدرال (FTC) را برای شما قرار داده ایم.

کمیسیون تجارت فدرال پیش از این به اطلاعات و مدارک بدست آمده از مدیر اجرایی بخش مجوز های شرکت کوالکام آقای اریک رایشنایدر (Eric Reifschneider) اشاره کرده بود که این شرکت، مشتریان خود مانند سونی موبایل و موتورولا را تهدید به قطع همکاری و عدم اعطا چیپست به آنها کرده بود. آقای رایشنایدر یک ایمیل برای شرکت سونی موبایل نوشته بود و در آن به این مورد نیز اشاره کرده بود: “شرکت تولید کننده تراشه کوالکام (QCT) به مدت سه هفته است که برای شرکت سونی موبایل (SMC) اقدام به ارسال چیپست می کرده و این اتفاق دیگر ادامه نخواهد داشت.”

شایعه: بازی جدیدی از سری Contra در دست ساخت است
به نظر میرسد که شرکت کونامی خود را برای عرضه یک بازی جدید از سری Contra برای پلتفرمهای پلیاستیشن ۴، ایکسباکس وان و نینتندو سوییچ آماده میکند. البته شاید شاهد عرضه یک نسخه بازآفرینی شده، بازسازی شده یا یک بسته که چندین نسخه از این مجموعه را در خود جای داده نیز باشیم. اما میتوان اطمینان داشت که کونامی برند Contra را فراموش نکرده است و در حال حاضر برنامههایی برای آن دارد. این خبر از اطلاعات موجود در یک خردهفروشی آلمانی بدست آمده است. به طور مشخص، به تازگی خردهفروشی بزرگ نتگیمز در آلمان، بازی جدیدی از سری Contra را برای پلتفرمهای پلیاستیشن ۴، ایکسباکس وان و نینتندو سوییچ لیست کرده است. البته هیچ جزئیات خاصی از این بازی منتشر نشده است.
البته باید اشاره کنیم که لیست شدن بازیها در خردهفروشیهای مختلف – جز آمازون، بستبای و دیگر فروشندههای بزرگ – خیلی مورد اعتماد نیستند. با این حال، نتگیمز یکی از بزرگترین فروشندگان بازیهای ویدئویی در کشور آلمان است بنابراین شاید این خردهفروشی از برنامههای شرکت کونامی (Konami) خبر داشته باشد. تاریخ عرضه این بازی، روز پنج شنبه ۷ شهریور ماه (۲۹ آگوست ۲۰۱۹ میلادی) مشخص شده است. نکته مورد توجه، عرضه این عنوان در روز پنج شنبه است. معمولاً بازیهای ویدئوی در روزهای سه شنبه یا جمعه هر هفته منتشر میشوند. با این حال، عرضه یک بازی در روز پنج شنبه نیز خیلی چیز عجیبی نیست و بارها نیز شاهد آن بودهایم.
پیش از هر چیزی باید اشاره کنیم که فهرست شدن نسخه جدید سری Contra در یک خردهفروشی، مطمئناً به حقیقی بودن چنین اتفاقی اشاره ندارد و شاید با اشتباهی از سوی عوامل آن خردهفروشی روبرو باشیم. بنابراین این خبر را تنها یک شایعه و حدس و گمان در نظر بگیرید و تا منتشر شدن اطلاعات رسمی و بیشتر صبر کنید.
برای آن دسته از افرادی که اطلاع خاصی از سری Contra ندارند باید بگوئیم که این سری عناوین نخستین بار در سال ۱۹۸۷ میلادی توسط شرکت کونامی به عنوان یک بازی آرکیدِ سکهمحور عرضه شدند. در ادامه، کونامی حدود ۱۳ بازی از این مجموعه تولید و منتشر کرد که آخرین آنها در سال ۲۰۱۱ میلادی عرضه شد. بنابراین، با توجه به گذشت این همه سال، بعید نیست که به زودی شاهد معرفی نسخه جدید این سری محبوب باشیم.

سونی رسماً تایید کرد: لیست کشورهایی که گوشیهای اکسپریا در آن عرضه میشود
در طول چند سال اخیر، سونی موبایل فعالیت خود را در بسیاری از بازارها متوقف کرد. یکی از مناطقی که سونی در راستای سیاستهای جدید خود، از آن خارج شد خاورمیانه بود. به تبع آن متاسفانه فعالیت سونی موبایل در ایران نیز متوقف شد و عملاً گوشی های اکسپریا از سبد خرید مشتریان ایرانی خارج گردید.
سونی به تازگی استراتژی جدید خود را برای بخش موبایل اعلام کرد که به چند بخش مهم اشاره شده است. کاهش هزینه ها به واسطه کاهش نیروی کار تا 50 درصد از مهمترین اهداف سونی موبایل است که تا پایان سال مالی 2020 ادامه خواهد داشت. اما مهمترین اسلاید از گزارش جدید سونی، بازارهایی است که سونی موبایل در آن حضور خواهد داشت.
طبق تصویری که در ادامه مشاهده میکنید، سونی موبایل رسماً تایید میکند که در چه بازارهایی حضور خواهد داشت. با تایید رسمی سونی موبایل از این شرکت تنها در اروپا، ژاپن، تایوان و هنگ کنگ متمرکز خواهد شد. غیر از این چهار منطقه، مناطق دیگری نیز هستند که سونی موبایل در آنها حضور خواهد داشت، اما تمرکز زیادی بر آن بازارها نخواهد داشت.

در لیست کشورهایی که سونی موبایل عدم حضور خود را در آنها اعلام کرده، ایران و سایر مناطق خاورمیانه نیز دیده میشود. در یکی دو سال اخیر سونی به صورت چراغ خاموش از چند منطقه خارج شد اما امروز اولین اظهار نظر رسمی خود را در خصوص فعالیت در این مناطق اعلام کرده است. سیاستهای سونی نشان میدهد که این شرکت حداقل تا پایان سال 2020 برنامهای برای افزایش فروش و ورود به بازارهای جدید ندارد. پس بیراهه نیست که بگوییم تا حداقل پایان سال 2020 علاقهمندان به سونی در ایران باید قید برند محبوب خود را بزنند. البته اگر معجزهای رخ دهد و سونی دوباره به خاورمیانه بازگردد!

سونی در دوربینهای آینده خود از هوش مصنوعی استفاده خواهد کرد
وقتی بحث قابلیت های یک دوربین به میان می آید، فاکتور های متفاوتی برای ایجاد یک تصویر با کیفیت مطرح هستند. به طور مثال، لنز مورد استفاده در دوربین باید مناسب باشد، نرم افزاری که تصویر را پردازش میکند باید کارآمد باشد و سنسور های دوربین نیز باید به خوبی خودش باشند. با این حال، به نظر می رسد که در آینده، شرکت سونی این شانس را خواهد داشت تا هوش مصنوعی را با سنسورهای دوربین خود تلفیق کند و با همین کار کیفیت خروجی دوربین هایش را افزایش دهد.

در واقعیت، این مسئله ما را شگفت زده نخواهد کرد، چرا که در این سال ها دوربین های بدون آینه و DSLR تغییر شگرفی را به خود ندیده اند. درست است که تغییراتی با توجه به ماهیت کلی دوربین های دیجیتالی را شاهد خواهیم بود، اما این تغییرات بیشتر حس تکامل را به ما منتقل می کنند تا انقلابی در صنعت تصویر برداری دیجیتال. علاوه بر این، سال هاس که شرکت های تولید کننده دوربین روز به روز افت می کنند و شاید چیزی مثل هوش مصنوعی تلفیق شده با سنسورهای دوربین بتواند این عرصه را به روز های اوج خود برساند.
دقیقا مشخص نیست که هوش مصنوعی در دوربین های بدون آینه و یا DSLR استفاده بیشتری در کدام بخش خواهد داشت و همچنان باید برای این مورد صبر کنیم. با این حال می توانیم تصور کنیم که از هوش مصنوعی می توان در زمینه تشخیص بهتر چهره و تشخیص و رهگیری حرکات در دوربین ها استفاده کرد و حتی شاید در زمینه عکاسی با نور کم نیز شاهد بهبود هایی باشیم. با این حال کسی نمی داند چه روزی این اتفاق خواهد افتاد، هنوز زود است که نفس خودتان را برای این اتفاق در سینه حبس کنید!

مدیرعامل سونی تاکید کرد: گوشیهای اکسپریا همچنان تولید خواهند شد
سونی موبایل در سالهای اخیر پیوسته در حال کوچک شدن و فروش کمتر در سطح جهان بوده اما هنوز بر حضور در این بازار اصرار دارد. هر از چند گاهی شایعهای در خصوص خروج سونی از بازار موبایل به گوش میرسد اما این شایعه هیچگاه رنگ حقیقت به خود نمیگیرد.
مدیر عامل سونی، آقای یوشیدا روز گذشته به بیان توضیحاتی در خصوص آینده واحد موبایل این شرکت پرداخت و تاکید کرد که گوشیهای اکسپریا همچنان به حیات خود ادامه خواهند داد. به عبارت سادهتر، یوشیدا رسماً تایید کرد که فعلا سونی قصد خروج از بازار موبایل را ندارد و همچنان در این بازار (هر چند به صورت محدود) حضور خواهد داشت. یوشیدا در این باب گفت:
ما گوشیهای هوشمند را به عنوان یک سخت افزار برای سرگرمی و جزئی از ابزار مورد نیاز برای تجاری سازی سختافزارهای خود میبینیم. نسل جوان امروز دیگر تمایلی به تماشای تلویزیون ندارد! در واقع نقطه تماس آنها با دنیا همین گوشیهای هوشمند است.
با وجود اینکه سونی موبایل اهمیت ساخت و عرضه گوشیهای هوشمند را به خوبی درک میکند، اما فعلا تمایلی به گسترش فعالیت در این عرصه ندارد و فعلا تا پایان سال 2020، تنها به حضور در چند منطقه دنیا قانع است. سونی با همین سیاست قصد دارد تا پایان سال 2020 به سودآوری برسد.

لباس مجازی ۹۵۰۰ دلار فروخته شد
ایتنا - یک استارت آپ هلندی لباسی مجازی را به قیمت ۹۵۰۰ دلار فروخته است. این لباس براساس طرحهای دوبعدی لباسهای معمول ابداع شده اما فقط در فضای مجازی وجود دارد.
با فراگیر شدن شبکههای اجتماعی برخی افراد برای تبلیغ و همچنین جلب توجه دوستان آنلاینشان لباس میخرند. اکنون کاربران میتوانند لباسهایی بخرند که فقط به صورت دیجیتالی وجود دارند و در واقعیت وجود ندارند.
در همین راستا استارت آپ هلندی Fabricant Dapper Labs یک لباس دیجیتالی را به قیمت ۹۵۰۰ دلار در بلاکچین فروخته است. طراح، لباس را براساس عکس برای مشتری ابداع میکند.
به گزارش ایتنا از مهر، این لباس براساس طرحهای دو بعدی ابداع میشود که برای دوخت لباسهای معمولی به کار میروند. بنابراین میتوان نمونه واقعی لباس را نیز تولید کرد.
هرچند این ایده کمی عجیب به نظر میرسد اما لباسهای ابداع شده با این شیوه بسیار واقعی به نظر می رسند. از سوی دیگر برخی ادعا میکنند چنین لباسی به حفظ محیط زیست کمک میکند. زیرا به این ترتیب نیازی نیست برای لباسی که فقط چندبار استفاده میشود، پارچه و مواد زیادی هزینه کرد.
به هرحال به گفته کارشناسان کالاهای مجازی در حقیقت اشیایی هستند که ابداع و فروخته میشوند و میتوان در فضای آنلاین و بازیهای رایانهای از آن استفاده کرد. این در حالی است که چنین کالاهای مجازی بسیار گرانبها هستند.

برند Redmi شرکت شیاومی یکی از مقرون به صرفه ترین مدل های خود را تحت عنوان Redmi 7A ارائه کرد. این تلفن همراه از چیپ اسنپدراگون ۴۳۹ قدرت میگیرد و با صفحه نمایش ۵/۴۵ اینچی بدون ناچ دارای رزولوشن +HD یا به عبارتی ۱۴۴۰×۷۲۰، نسبت تصویر ۱۸:۹ است.

هوآوی دیگر قادر به استفاده از کارت MicroSD در گوشی هایش نخواهد بود
باز هم خبر بد دیگری برای شرکت هوآوی و این بار از سمت اتحادیه مرجع استاندارد های کارت حافظه SDA که این شرکت را از فهرست اعضای خود حذف کرده است و این خبر به شدت می تواند ترسناک باشد؛ چرا که در صورت تایید شدن آن، تولید و فروش محصولاتی که از مموری کارت های MicroSD پشتیبانی می کنند عملا غیر ممکن خواهد شد.
تصویری که در زیر آن را مشاهده می کنید یک اسکرین شات از قبل و بعد از تصمیم این اتحادیه به واسطه حذف شرکت هواوی از لیست اعضایش می باشد. اگر این خبر تایید شود این شرکت دیگر قادر به تولید محصولاتی با اسلات کارت حافظه نخواهد بود. نه تنها این مورد، بلکه تمامی شرکت های تکنولوژی که با ایالت متحده آمریکا همکاری می کنند قادر نخواهند بود تا با شرکت های چینی داد و ستدی داشته باشند.

در این بین، تولید NanoSD ها که همچنین با نام NM Cards شناخته می شود می تواند راه گریزی برای شرکت هواوی باشد تا به وسیله ساخت و مجهز کردن گوشی های آینده خود به این اسلات به نحوی ممنوعیت کشور آمریکا را دور بزند.
علاوه بر این مورد، وضعیت گوشی هایی که تا قبل از این در کشور انگلستان پیش فروش شده بودند نیز به صورت معلق در آمده است و در صدر آنها گوشی هواوی Mate 20X نسخه 5G وجود دارد، که اولین گوشی دنیا با قابلیت پشتیبانی از نسل پنجم ارتباطات سیار برای بازار انگلستان و به خصوص اپراتور بریتانیایی EE ساخته شده بود. دلیل این اپراتور برای معلق کردن وضعیت گوشی های این شرکت عدم ارائه بروز رسانی ها و نسخه کامل سیستم عامل آندروید بر روی این گوشی بوده است.

ایتنا - کوالکام و لنوو در جریان برگزاری نمایشگاه کامپیوتکس ۲۰۱۹ نخستین لپتاپ مجهز به شبکه 5G در جهان را در معرض دید بازدیدکنندگان قرار دادند.
رویداد کامپیوتکس ۲۰۱۹ که در شهرتاپیه، مرکز تایوان برگزار میشود، میزبان رونمایی یک محصول جدید و شگفتانگیز بود که با همکاری کوالکام و لنوو تحت توسعه قرار دارد و قرار است عنوان نخستین لپ تاپ مجهز به شبکه 5G را به خود اختصاص دهد.
به گزارش ایتنا از ایسنا، این لپ تاپ که در غرفه شرکت تراشه ساز کوالکام در معرض دید شرکت کنندگان و بازدیدکنندگان نمایشگاهکامپیوتکس ۲۰۱۹ قرار گرفت، از پردازنده اسنپدراگون سی ایکس ۸ که به مودمهای 5G x55 مجهز است، بهره میبرد. گفته میشود پردازندههای اسنپدراگون سری 8cx نخستین پردازندههای ۷ نانومتری جهان به شمار میروند که میتواند تکنولوژی شبکه نسل پنجم اینترنت 5G را برای کاربران به ارمغان بیاورد.
جانسون ژیا، نایب رئیس بخش کسب و کار رایانههای شخصی شرکت لنوو در گفتگو با گزارشگر تک رادار گفت: لپ تاپهای مجهز به شبکه 5G بر مبنای تراشههای اسنپدراگون ساخت شرکت کوالکام توسعه داده خواهد شد که بدین ترتیب عمر باتری بالا، عملکرد فوقالعاده و شگفتانگیز در کنار تأخیر در عملکرد ( lagging) بسیار کمی را رقم خواهد زد.
وی در ادامه تاکید کرد: همین مساله موجب میشود که این محصول برای علاقمندان به بازیهای رایانهای و مصارف گیمینگ به کار بیاید و طرفداران زیادی را به سمت و سوی خود جذب کند.
البته هنوز هیچکدام از این دو شرکت جزئیات بیشتری درباره این محصول منتشر نکردهاند ولی احتمالاً ویژگی و طراحی ظاهری آن نهایی نشده و ممکن است بعد از رونمایی و عرضه رسمی، تغییر و تحولات متعددی در آن ایجاد شود.
با توجه به آنکه هنوز زیرساختهای لازم برای برقراری شبکه نسل پنجم اینترنت 5G در تایوان وجود ندارد، کوالکام به منظور نشان دادن قابلیتهای لپ تاپهای لنوو ویدئویی را از طریق یوتیوب در غرفه خود به نمایش گذاشت تا قدرت و تکنولوژی به کار رفته در این محصول جدید را جلوه داده و برای کاربران و علاقمندان به محصولات فناوری به نمایش بگذارد.
در یک سال اخیر تلاش اپراتورهای مخابراتی و غولهای تکنولوژی برای توسعه فناوری شبکه اینترنت 5G شدت گرفته و هریک از آنها در تلاشند تا با همکاری شرکتهای مخابراتی مناطق مختلف جهان وارد همکاری و مذاکره شوند.
اوایل سال ۲۰۱۲ میلادی بود که اتحادیه بینالمللی مخابرات (ITU) تحت نظر سازمان ملل برنامهای را برای توسعه تیم ارتباطات بینالمللی موبایلی (IMT) برای افق ۲۰۲۰ و فرای آن (IMT-۲۰۲۰) آغاز کرد. در نتیجه رسماً یک مسابقه جهانی برای تعیین نسل پنجم شبکه موبایل شروع شد و از آن پس، شاهد رقابت تنگاتنگی میان اپراتورهای اینترنت و تلفن همراه در سراسر جهان هستیم که هر یک دنبال برقراری و راهاندازی نسل جدید و پرسرعت اینترنت 5G در کشورهای مختلفی همچون کره جنوبی، ژاپن، چین، ایالات متحده آمریکا، استرالیا و غیره هستند و از تواناییها و برنامههای خود در این زمینه رونمایی میکنند.
کشورهای بسیاری در سراسر جهان از جمله ایالات متحده آمریکا، کانادا، استرالیا، چین، کره جنوبی، ژاپن و بسیاری از کشورهای اروپایی و غیره با همکاری بزرگترین اپراتورهای جهان در حال برقراری نسل پنجم اینترنت همراه 5G هستند و در این زمینه فعالیتهای گستردهای را انجام دادهاند.
بسیاری از بزرگترین شرکتهای مخابراتی و اپراتورهای فعال در جهان نظیر نوکیا، اریکسون، هواوی، ال جی، اسپرینتو غیره به شدت در حال رقابت برای راهاندازی نخستین شبکه اتصال به اینترنت نسل پنجم 5G هستند. نسل پنجم شبکه تلفن همراه 5G، استانداردهای پیشنهادی برای نسل جدید ارتباطات سیار است که پس از نسل چهارم شبکه تلفن همراه فعلی ارائه میشود.

بازی Atelier Raiza بهزودی برای پلیاستیشن ۴ عرضه خواهد شد
سازندگان سری بازی Atelier از ساخت نسخهی دیگری از آن خبر دادند که در آیندهای نزدیک برروی کنسول پلیاستیشن ۴ در کشور ژاپن عرضه خواهد شد.
بسیاری از بازیبازان با سری بازی Atelier آشنایی دارند و نسخههای مختلف آن در طول زمان طرفداران زیادی داشته است. چند نسخه از این سری برای منطقهی غرب نیز در دسترس قرار گرفت که باعث جلب رضایت بیشتر آنها شد. Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland نام جدیدترین نسخهی منتشر شده است که در اواخر اسفند ماه برروی کنسولهای پلیاستیشن ۴ و نینتندو سوییچ عرضه شد.
حال تیم سازندهی بازی در صدد است تا نسخهی دیگری تحت عنوان Atelier Raiza: The Queen of Eternal Darkness and the Secret Hideout را در اختیار بازیبازان قرار دهد. در این بازی شما کنترل شخصیتی صلح طلب با نام Raizalin Staud را برعهده خواهید گرفت و باید به همراه دوستان خود به کشف رمز و رازهای مختلف در محیطی زیبا بپردازید. مسلما سازندگان برای این نسخه تمرکز زیادی روی کیفیت داشتهاند چرا که نسبت به نسخههای پیشین به واقعیت نزدیکتر است. این عنوان پاییز میلادی امسال برای پلیاستیشن ۴ در کشور ژاپن منتشر خواهد شد. در خصوص انتشار این بازی در مناطق غرب و یا برروی نینتندو سوییچ و رایانههای شخصی هنوز اطلاعی در دسترس نیست اما به محض دریافت اخبار بیشتر، آنها را با شما در میان خواهیم گذاشت.

اوضاع بدتر از همیشه: کمپانی ARM نیز به جمع تحریم کنندگان هواوی پیوست
گویا قرار است یک ضربه ی دیگر بر پیکره ی هواوی وارد شود؛ این بار توسط کمپانی ARM. اخیرا کمپانی ARM تصمیم گرفته است تا به همکاری خود با هواوی در زمینه طراحی چیپست های موبایل خاتمه دهد. به گزارش خبرگزاری BBC News به دنبال تحریم تجاری هواوی توسط ایالات متحده، کمپانی ARM می خواهد تمام قراردادها و تعاملات و حمایت های حقوقی ای که با هواوی داشت را خاتمه دهد. ایالات متحده تمام کمپانی های آمریکایی را از داشتن هر گونه تعامل و همکاری (بدون اخذ مجوز از دولت آمریکا) با این غول مخابراتی چینی منع کرده است. اما کمپانی ARM متعلق به انجمن ژاپنی SoftBank میباشد و هم اکنون مقر اصلی آن در بریتانیا واقع شده است.
مدیران کمپانی ARM بر این باورند که کسب و کار آنها به نوعی به آمریکا مربوط میشود و آن طور که در یکی از نامه های کارکنان این شرکت ذکر شده است، تکنولوژی مورد استفاده در تجهیزات تولیدی این شرکت ریشه ی آمریکایی دارد. همچنین ARM کارخانه هایی در کالیفرنیا و تگزاس دارد که باعث میشود محدودیت های تعیین شده توسط دولت آمریکا شامل حال این کمپانی شود. هواوی برای توسعه ی چیپست های Kirin خود به ARM وابسته است و مبالغی برای دیافت مجوز حق استفاده از تولیدات این شرکت پرداخت میکند. بدون اخذ مجوز هواوی و شرکت زیرمجموعه اش های سیلیکون قادر نخواهند بود به توسعه ی چیپست های خود ادامه دهند و از طراحی های ARM بی بهره میمانند.
سخنگوی کمپانی ARM به خبرگزاری ورج گفته است: ARM از تمام قوانین وضع شده توسط دولت ایالات متحده پیروی میکند. توضیحاتی بیشتری از جانب کارکنان این شرکت در این مورد ارائه نشده است.
سخنگوی هواوی نیز به خبرگزاری ورج گفته است: روابط ما با همکاران مان بسیار برایمان با ارزش است، اما این موضوع را هم درک میکنیم که برخی از آنها به دلیل تصمیمات سیاسی دولت ها تحت فشار هستند. ما مطمئن هستیم این وضعیت تاسف بار به زودی به حالت سابق باز خواهد گشت و اولویت ما همچنان ارائه ی تکنولوژی در سطح جهانی و عرضه ی محصولات با کیفیت به کاربران در کشور های مختلف خواهد بود.

هنوز مشخص نیست که آیا ARM به صورت مستقیم از ایالات متحده دستور گرفته است یا به صورت خود جوش اقدام کرده است. اگر مورد دوم صحیح باشد میتوان این اقدام ARM را هم جهت با سایر کمپانی های تولید کننده قطعات نیمه هادی که به عنوان تامین کننده ی هواوی محسوب میشوند دانست.
این طور که گزارش شده است هواوی قطعات آمریکایی مورد نیاز خود را برای مدت 3 ماه الی یک سال در انبارهای خود ذخیره کرده است، بنابراین فعلا از این بابت مشکلی نخواهد داشت. هواوی در حال حاضر برای تامین قطعات مرتبط با حافظه و شبکه ی بعضی از گوشی هایش به شرکت های آمریکاییQorvo ، Micron و Skyworks وابسته است.
حتی بدون کمک کمپانی های نام برده شده هواوی ممکن است بتواند احتیاجات خود را تامین کند، اما بدون تکنولوژی و طراحی های مهندسی ARM تولید گوشی هوشمند برای هواوی با امری غیر ممکن تبدیل خواهد شد.

اپلیکیشن «گیمینگ» یوتیوب به تاریخ میپیوندد!
ایتنا -گوگل به تازگی اعلام کرده است که اپلیکیشن گیمینگ یوتیوب از پایان ماه مارس به بعد دیگر در دسترس کاربران قرار نخواهد گرفت.
گوگل به عنوان توسعهدهنده بزرگترین سرویس پخش محتوای آنلاین، یوتیوب، به تازگی از خاتمه دادن به عمر اپلیکیشن گیمینگ این پلتفرم تا پایان ماه جاری میلادی خبر داده است و بدین ترتیب از تمامی کاربران و علاقمندان درخواست کرده است که در صورت داشتن حساب کاربری، تمامی دادههای مربوطه و سایر اطلاعات موجود در اکانت خود را بازیابی و خارج کنند تا در صورت نیاز، با مشکل مواجه نشوند.
به گزارش ایتنا از ایسنا، یکی از مقامات گوگل با تاکید بر اینکه اپلیکیشن گیمینگ یوتیوب از ۳۰ ماه مه ۲۰۱۹ میلادی به بعد دیگر در دسترس کاربران و علاقمندان قرار نخواهد داشت، در گفتگو با گزارشگر وب سایت phonearena خاطرنشان کرده است که دلیل از دسترس خارج کردن این برنامه بدون شک تصمیم گوگل برای بهبود ، ارتقا و ارائه یک پلتفرم مناسب برای بازیهای رایانهای و گیمینگ بوده است تا این غول تکنولوژی بتواند با سایر رقبای قدرتمند خود که در این حوزه فعالیت میکنند، به رقابت بپردازد.
در سالهای اخیر، بسیاری از غولهای تکنولوژی و شرکتهای فعال در حوزه فناوری در تلاشند تا با ارائه پلتفرم و اپلیکیشنهای مناسب و قدرتمند برای کاربران و علاقمندان به گیمینگ، بتوانند در این صنعت نام و آوازهای برای خود کسب کرده و محبوبیت خود را در زمینه گیمینگ ارتقا ببخشند.

بروزرسانی اندروید پای برای گوشی های سری M سامسونگ در ماه ژوئن آغاز میشود
در ماه آپریل سامسونگ چهار مدل از گوشی های خود شامل Galaxy J6 ،Galaxy J6+ ،Galaxy On7 Prime و Galaxy J7 Prime 2 در بازار هند را به اندروید پای روزرسانی کرد. اکنون این غول تکنولوژی کره ای اعلام کرده است که از ماه آینده به روزرسانی آخرین نسخه ی اندروید را برای گوشی های سری M خود آغاز خواهد کرد.
سامسونگ به روزرسانی اندروید پای را برای گوشی های Galaxy M10، M20 و M30 در کشور هند از تاریخ 3 ژوئن آغاز خواهد کرد. با این فریمور جدید گوشی های سری M سامسونگ به رابط کاربری One UI مجهز خواهند شد، همچنین این فریمور جدید علاوه بر بهبود در عملکرد کلی دستگاه، پچ امنیتی نیز به همراه دارد. البته هنوز مشخص نیست که این وصله ی امنیتی برای ماه مِی است یا برای ماه ژوئن است.
سامسونگ گوشی های M10، M20 و M30 را در سه ماهه ی نخست سال جاری با اندروید 8.1 و رابط کاربری Experience 9.5 روانه ی بازار کرد. گوشی گلکسی M10 از چیپست اگزینوس 7870 بهره میبرد، در حالیکه گوشی های M20 و M30 به چیپست اگزینوس 7904 مجهز شده اند.

Fifty years ago, an extraterrestrial giant of light known as Ultraman saved the earth but vanished. Ultraman's human host, Shin Hayata, was left with no memory of his time as a hero. Hayata's young son, Shinjirou, is found to have been born with a more powerful and durable body than any normal human. The organization who aided Ultraman, the SSSP, reveals Hayata's past to him. His father then dons a power suit again, assuming the role of Ultraman once more.
One night, Shinjirou is attacked by an alien named Bemular and rescued by his father, who is severely injured in the battle. With dangerous aliens lurking in the city and Hayata out of commission, it falls to Shinjirou to pick up the torch. But in working with the SSSP as the new Ultraman, Shinjirou finds himself wondering how far is he willing to go to help people.
