back number Performs Theme Song for Gintama 2 Live-Action Film
The official website for Gintama 2: Okite wa Yaburu Tame ni Koso Aru (The Law is Surely There to be Broken), the second live-action film based on Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga, announced on Wednesday that rock band back number will perform the film's theme song "Daifuseikai."
The film opens in Japan on August 17. The story will cover both the "Shinsengumi Crisis" and the "Shogun Reception" arcs, the latter of which features the introduction of the Shogun.
The film stars (from left to right in top row in picture below): Shun Oguri as Gintoki Sakata, Masaki Suda as Shinpachi Shimura, and Kanna Hashimoto as Kagura, as well as (bottom row) Masami Nagasawa as Tae Shimura and Masaki Okada as Kotarō Katsura. The character Elizabeth (bottom row right) is also returning, but the film's website has not specified if Takayuki Yamada is returning for the role.

Jiro Sato (seen in picture below) is also returning, but in a different role. Sato previously played the character Takechi Henpeita in the first film.
The film will get an accompanying live-action show on Docomo's dTV streaming service, similar to the first film. Returning from the first live-action show are Shun Oguri as Gintoki Sakata, Kankurō Nakamura as Isao Kondou, Yuuya Yagira as Toushirou Hijikata, and Ryō Yoshizawa as Sougo Okita. Joining them in the second live-action show is Kanna Hashimoto as Kagura. Yūichi Fukuda is writing and directing the new live-action show, just as he has done for both films and for the first live-action show. The show will premiere in August.
The first film opened in Japan last July, and it earned 980 million yen (US$8.9 million) in its first four days. The film also inspired a live-action net show that debuted on Docomo's dTV streaming service one day after the film's opening. The film had its Canadian premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival last July, and Azoland Pictures screened the film in the United States and Canada starting on January 19.
Well Go USA released the first film on DVD, Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo pack, and Digital HD on March 6.

Horror Manga Artist Junji Ito Draws for Inside Thriller Film
Acclaimed horror manga creator Junji Ito brought his iconic style to create artwork for the independent thriller film Inside. The 2016 Spanish film directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas and written by Jaume Balagueró and Manu Díez follows pregnant widow Sarah Clark (Rachel Nichols) who finds herself the targeted by a woman (Laura Harring) obsessed with her unborn child.
https://youtu.be/SFOmKyqGRCE
The Spanish film is a remake of the French horror film À l'intérieur released in 2007. Junji Itō commented on his impression of the new film. He said, "This is the scariest situation for a pregnant woman! It was a thriller reminiscent of the work of Alfred Hitchcock. Also the motives of the murderer are complex, it had me shivering even after the film ended."
Inside is opening in theaters in Japan on July 13.
Junji Ito's horror stories were the subject of the Junji Ito "Collection" anime. Ito's work has been adapted into live-action films before, like Uzumaki and Tomie, Viz Media has released Ito's Tomie story collection, Gyo, Uzumaki, Fragments of Horror, and most recently Shiver in North America. The company recently licensed Ito's Frankenstein: Junji Ito Story Collection manga. Kodansha USA has released his not-so-scary true story manga about learning to live with his fiance's cats under the title Junji Ito's Cat Diary: Yon & Mu, and Vertical licensed and released The Dissolving Classroom.

http://bigbangpage.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/earth-most-water-titan-europa.jpg

THE MUSMUS presents music video for badass song “Muller”!
Less than a week has passed since THE MUSMUS revealed a mysterious music video preview for Muller, a song from their venue limited single THE MOON, released at their show “THE MUSMUS RIOT vol.02” on March 17. And today, it is finally the day where the Muller music video is out in the wild for everyone to enjoy!
What THE MUSMUS’ song Muller brings to the table is nothing out of their comfort zone, but it is able to offer their long-lasting post-hardcore sound, dating all the way back when they were called UPLIFT SPICE. In other words, Muller is a badass song with powerful vocals and drums, intense guitars and bass!
Have a listen yourself in their latest music video below, or on Spotify!

JAKIGAN MEISTER’s “Dikagestortion” music video preview embraces delinquency and chaos
JAKIGAN MEISTER released mini-album Yin-Yang on May 16 which has a total of seven songs and a DVD with the music video for Dikagestortion or Di陰stortion. Now the solo project headed by NIGHTMARE guitarist Sakito has revealed a music video preview for it!
This simply has Sakito sitting down on a chair with legs up on desk, similar to that of a delinquent, singing the lyrics while his support members perform the song. There is also a stack of chairs piled up behind him illustrating chaos or a distortion of some kind. He does get up eventually but this time, he’s in a doorway with guitar in hand, strumming away.
You’ll find that the full word would be “Distortion” if the kanji for “kage” wasn’t there. The “kage” can mean “Yin”, in reference to the mini-album name but is also a euphemism for female genitalia, which seeing as their first album was called Ejaculation, it doesn’t surprise us.
Check it below along with the odd spelling of Dikagestortion!

Attack on Titan Mobile Game's Title Revealed, New Multiplayer Features Hinted
GameSamba announced the title of its planned Attack on Titan mobile game as Attack on Titan: Assault on Tuesday. The company plans to offer the game in "all major English markets" for iOS and Android devices. GameSamba did not announce a release date for the game.
Funimation announced the game in 2016, and had originally planned to release the game by the end of that year.
GameSamba's new description of the game remains largely similar to the original description, but now adds hints of persistent game elements and multiplayer:
The “Attack on Titan” game will be an action-driven title, allowing players all over the world to battle titans on their mobile devices. It will combine elements of runner and action games, in order to replicate the feeling of the titan battles from the anime series. Players will need to use careful planning – and quick reactions – to survive. There will also be deeper, persistent elements to the game, including multiplayer features, which will be revealed at a later date.
Funimation, GameSamba, and NGames Interactive announced their strategic partnership to create mobile and web games in January 2016, and they are also collaborating on a Tokyo Ghoul and Fairy Tail mobile game, as well as a separate, free-to-play Fairy Tail online game. GameSamba is Funimation's Group 1200 sister company.

Finding Your Contacts in the New Gmail
Google’s recent revamp of its mail service has moved a few old features to new places, but you don’t have to look far.
Q. I’m trying to find my contacts list in the new Gmail. Where is it hidden?
A. Google’s recent revamp of its Gmail service for desktop web browsers moves a few things around. In the previous version, you could switch to the contacts list by clicking the Gmail menu on the left side of the page, but that method no longer works once you update to the refreshed Gmail.
You can now get to the contacts page by clicking the Apps icon in the upper right corner of the Gmail inbox. When you click the Apps icon, which is a square made up of nine smaller squares, it unfolds to reveal a panel of icons for other Google programs and services, including Google Photos, Google News and YouTube.
In the updated version of Gmail for the desktop, you can get to your contacts from the Apps panel on the right side of the window, or by hovering the mouse cursor over a sender’s name until a contact card pops up. CreditThe New York Times
If you do not immediately see the Contacts icon in the window, scroll through the panel until you find it. You can drag the Contacts icon to the top of the collection to find it more easily in the future, and can rearrange the other icons around it as you wish. Click the Contacts icon to open your address book.
You can also edit a sender’s contact card right on the mailbox screen. To do that, hover the cursor over the person’s name in your inbox list. A contact card should pop up, showing the sender’s email address and giving you a few options, like an “Add to Contacts” button if you do not already have the person in your address book. You may see an “Edit Contact” button if you have previously added the sender. Icons for creating a new email, scheduling a calendar event, sending a text and starting a video call with that person are also available.

Hollywood Live-Action Monster Hunter Film Features Milla Jovovich, Starts Production in September
Entertainment news website Variety reported on Friday that Constantin Film's Hollywood live-action film adaptation of CAPCOM's Monster Hunter action game franchise will feature Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil movie franchise). The film is budgeted at around US$60 million, and will shoot in and around Cape Town in South Africa. The film will start production in September.
Constantin Film said that it is in "the final stages of negotiation" to partner with “a big company” in Japan, and another in China. The Japanese and Chinese companies each will take equity in the project. Constantin Film is otherwise funding the film itself.
Martin Moszkowicz, Chairman of the Executive Board of Constantin Film, said at Cannes that Constantin Film is planning the project as a film series, adding, "we are in the business of brand creation."
Constantin Film produced all six films in the Paul W.S. Anderson-directed Resident Evil franchise. Anderson is also directing the Monster Hunter film, and his Impact Pictures producing partner Jeremy Bolt is producing. Impact Pictures released a concept picture for the film (seen left) in November 2016, showing a dragon at Los Angeles International Airport.
Impact Pictures describes the film:
For every Monster, there is a Hero. An ordinary man in a dead end job discovers that he is actually the descendant of an ancient hero. He must travel to a mystical world to train to become a Monster Hunter, before the mythical creatures from that world destroy ours.
Anderson has written a draft for the film's script. Mr. X will produce the special effects, and the company's president Dennis Berardi is credited as producer. The story will have an ordinary person traveling to the Monster Hunter world before coming back to the real world to fight an "epic battle in and around LAX."
Anderson stated that he sees the film and the game's world as an "opportunity to have a cinematic universe."

Sony, Nintendo Update Warranty Policies After FTC Warning
Sony and Nintendo both updated their warranty statements for the United States and Canada this week following a warning from the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Both companies' statements previously said that their warranties would not apply if a product was used with a third-party peripheral (such as an adapter or power supply). They now specify that the warranties will not apply only if these third party products caused the damage.
Sony also removed a clause saying that the warranty would not apply if the warranty seal had been altered or removed. The company replaced this with a stipulation that the warranty will not apply "to damage caused by opening the product or to damage caused by service performed by someone other than a representative of SIE [Sony Interactive Entertainment] or an SIE-authorized service provider."
The FTC announced last month that it issued a warning to six companies — including Sony and Nintendo — about questionable language in the companies' statements regarding consumers voiding warranties when breaking stickers on the product, or when using parts or products not sold by the companies themselves. The FTC cautioned that such language is prohibited by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, unless the companies themselves provide such parts or services for free, or are waived by the FTC.
The FTC asked the companies to review their promotional and warranty materials, and revise their practices to comply with the law. The FTC said it would review the companies' websites after 30 days, and warned, "failure to correct any potential violations may result in law enforcement action."

Lieutenant Colonel Yūki of the Imperial Japanese Army forms the "D Agency," an army intelligence outfit under his command and tutelage. Army General Staff attaches Lieutenant Sakuma to observe the unit's performance. D Agency casts a wide net to find agents beyond Japanese military personnel, and Yūki establishes D Agency's tenets, which go against IJA doctrine: "Don't kill, don't get killed, don't get captured." With this, Yūki trains a team of operatives who conduct missions against domestic and foreign powers.
Production I.G's television anime adaptation of the novel premiered in April 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub for the anime.
Subaru Nitō launched a manga adaptation of the anime in Mag Garden's Comic Garden magazine in February 2016, and ended it on January 5. Mag Garden published the manga's fifth and final compiled book volume on March 10.
Yanagi published the original Joker Game novel in 2008. The novel won the Nihon Suiri Sakka Kyōkai-shō (Mystery Writers of Japan) award in 2009. Yū Irie directed a live-action adaptation of the novel, which premiered in Japan in January 2015. Yanagi followed up the original novel with three sequel novels — titled Double Joker, Paradise Lost, and Last Waltz — in 2009, 2012, and 2015, respectively. The series has more than 1 million copies in print.

The romantic comedy manga centers on the relationship between old-fashioned and domestically minded high school girl Mai Nanase, and her brother's friend, the innocent late bloomer Sōta Nishino. Mai and her brother Yukihiro's room are adjacent to each other, with thin walls that allow them to overhear each other. The story begins when, one day, she overhears Sōta telling Yukihiro that he thinks Mai is cute.
Akagawara first published the manga as a one-shot in Hakusensha's The Hana to Yume magazine in January 2015 before launching it as a series in Hana to Yume that May. The manga was initially planned as a short serialization, but it is ongoing. Hakusensha published the manga's seventh compiled volume on January 19.

City Hunter Gets Spinoff Manga About Umibōzu
est em (IPPO, Age Called Blue) launched the City Hunter spinoff manga City Hunter Gaiden Ijuin Hayato-shi no Heion Naranu Nichijō (City Hunter Gaiden Mr. Hayato Ijuin's not peaceful life) on the manga website Comic Tatan of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine on Sunday. The website opened on Sunday with nine manga, including three new titles.
The spinoff manga centers on the character Umibōzu from Tsukasa Hojo's original City Hunter manga. In the first chapter, titled "Bubbly Time," the Cat's Eye café's master Umibōzu listens and responds to the troubles of his customers. The series will run on the website on the third and fourth Sundays of every month, and the next chapter will debut on May 20.
The other two new manga on the website are Yua Kotegawa's Satsujin Purgatorium (Murderer's Purgatorium) and Satono Okazaki's Ihō no Ozwald (Other Land Ozwald). Satsujin Purgatorium centers on a 46-year-old hitman who dies with regret and wakes up as a 16-year-old boy again. The paranormal science-fiction romance Ihō no Ozwald centers on a boy who dreams of encountering intelligent extraterrestrial life and becomes the assistant of a nonconformist in the world of astronomy.
The remaining manga serializing on the website are works returning from Monthly Comic Zenon and its Web Comic Zenyon website. The series are Mizu Sahara's Okashira Tsuki., Akane Tamura's Mobko no Koi, Machita's Haru to Ao no Obentōbako, Fujiko Segawa's Kono Machi Kinema, Amidamuku's Meshi Numa., and Taco's 3-biki no Chiisana Neko o Shōkan Dekita nara. Molico Ross will also launch the Sake yo Hana, Sake! manga in May, and Ai Nimoda will launch a "gourmet project" in June.
Tsukasa's original City Hunter manga follows Ryō Saeba, a sniper and a private eye ("sweeper") based in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward with unrivaled marksmanship and an over-the-top obsession for the opposite sex. He serves as a bodyguard and other duties for his clients.
Hojo's 1985 manga inspired four television anime series, one anime film, and several video and television specials including a 2015 original anime DVD. ADV Films released most of these anime projects in North America. Jackie Chan starred in a 1993 Hong Kong live-action film that very loosely adapts the original manga. A Korean live-action television series adaptation premiered in 2011, and Hulu streamed this version in the United States.
Sunrise will produce a new anime film adaptation that will premiere in spring 2019. A French live-action film adaptation titled Nicky Larson (the French title of the City Hunter franchise) is underway. A separate Chinese live-action film adaptation has been green-lit for December 2018 or later in China.
Hojo's Angel Heart 2nd Season manga ended in May, and Sokura Nijiki launched a spinoff manga titled Kyō Kara City Hunter on July 25.
